I have asked my mother to look for girl as I want to get married in next two years but my father doesn’t agree with me he still thinks that I should wait till I am able to earn. But I believe that Allah has promised in Quran that He will provide the rizq as my father is not too much in Islam sadly so what would you suggest me that should I get married now or not?

Mashallah it’s really an Islamic thought to get married as early as possible. Tell your father not to go with lay man thinking go with Quranic teachings.

Hamare walid Sahab ne 25 years pehle Ghar buy kya tha jahan hm unki family rehte hein to uski purchasing price pr Jo Khums bnta tha wo ada krdia tha. Walid Sahab ki kuch arsa pehle death hogai he aur ham new Ghar mein move hona chah rhe Hein. 1. To is silsilay me Jo mjhe samjh ata he wo ke ‘selling price – purchasing price (jispr Khums Nikal gya)’, Jo amount remaining aega uspr Ghar ka Khums nikalna Hoga? Meri is pehle sawal pr rehnumai krdein. 2. If the house was for basic need of the family then no Khums is applicable. The house shall be distributed among inheritors or they amount of old house can be used for purchasing better or bigger house if it is needed. In both case no khums is applicable.

Is an investment in mutual fund which has some small portion invested in Indian bank shares permissible ?

Yes if it’s commonly considered as small portion.

Can I invest or save my saving money in a bank saving account which works on Mudarabah which says that the bank will take a fixed amount of money per month or yearly or lump sum at a time and invest my money according to islamic laws then the profit gain will be added to my saving account in such a way that they takes the 50% profit and add other 50% to my saving account. The profit is not fixed, the deposits return a variable profit after every month and the profit is declared at the end of the month maybe it is 11% this month and the next month it is 14% or 4%. I don’t know what it will be. Banks website also says this: Meezan Kafalah works on the underlying contracts of Mudarabah and Wakalah. In Mudarabah, funds deposited by the customer are allocated to a deposit pool, which are invested strictly in Islamic modes of finance. In Wakalah, the customer will agree to appoint Meezan Bank as his/her Wakeel (agent) for facilitation in the collection of Takaful cover contribution, whereby the Bank may, acting as a collection agent, collect Takaful cover contribution i.e Takaful expense amount from the customer and change WAKALAH fee inlieu of providing Takaful coverage, which on Bank’s sole discretion, WAKALAH FEE may be waived after 3 or more years of WAKALAH period. Is it permissible to use this saving account?

Yes such accounts are permissible

I am Software Engineer by profession. Recently I got a job offer from a company that is about to launch a loan app. They are claiming that all the operations will be Sharia compliant according to Pakistan’s Islamic banking Laws. Is it ok for me to accept that offer and work there?

Till now such things have turned out as false and traps. There are many videos on YouTube you can search . So if it has legality as per islamic laws as well as ethical considerations then only one can enter. They charge fines service charges and then create real problems for the one who has taken the loans. Rest you can decide.

Insurance halal ya haram?

The issue bothering me is that the two parties getting together will definitely agree on a bribe as is the system in Pakistan, so if we are acting as a broker in the deal arent we part of the bribe ?

How those the washing machines in Pakistan purify clothes. I am talking about the ones that have a lid on the top? Because I’m confused since they don’t spin and dry if I’m not wrong

If the najasat is removed in running water of that washing machine the they can become pak. Otherwise remove najasat before putting in washing machine.

What should be the top priority of the faithful person in case of expending his income every month like he should own a house, car, education, food, health, etc.?

It depends on the area need and future planning from family to family. People starve and educate their children in third class system expecting good results so we can’t exactly say what should be the priority. Just consider your family future then decide.

I wanted to ask, if i have a transit/ stopover in jeddah, does umrah become wajib on me?

I have a question about investing in Sovereign Gold Bond in India. The question related to khumus. SGBs are Bonds backed by physical Gold which will stay with the government but they will share the interest income and the gold appriciation with investors after 8 years of time period. SGBs are government securities denominated in grams of gold. They are substitutes for holding physical gold. Investors have to pay the issue price in cash and the bonds will be redeemed in cash on maturity. The Bond is issued by Reserve Bank on behalf of Government of India. Is the interest on it Halal? Do we have to pay Khumus on it?

If at any stage investor wants to actually get the delivery of gold in anyway then such investment is allowed. Physical deliver is not necessary but it should be possible. Secondly if gold is considered as bench mark for investment and is not considered as investment in gold then it is allowed without any condition. So one is investing in gold is other than investment with gold bench mark; both are different. Thirdly, It’s investment and so there is no interest involved. Fourth Khums is on saving at the end of the year. Hope I have explained well.

1. Is trading the Forex/CFD markets halal? This also includes trading thorugh a broker that has spreads and commisions. 2. Some markets such as US30 (Dow Jones Industrial Average) has companies that may do haram things (such as supporting/representation of LGBTQ in Disney tv shows, where Disney is part of US30, and other companies which earn money through interest.) Would it be best to stay away from this stock or other financial instruments that are similar to this example or is it fine to trade these markets?

If those Haram contributions are a major part of investments then not allowed. If it’s negligible part then it’s allowed.

One of my friend asked me a question about God which I wasnt able to answer properly. The question was, according to scientific law “energy cannot be created or destroyed” so how can God create energy? Therefore according it his beliefs, God is the energy so it exists everywhere and is in everything

Allah is absolute existence and absolute existence can give existence to everything. Now someone gives the name of energy due to some belief we don’t challenge it. But we say the absolute existance has no boundaries.

I have a question about Al Amali by Sheikh Mufid. How reliable is this book? Can I just generally accept the Hadith in this book without checking the Sanad?

No book is fully authentic. We need to understand the authenticity through prescribed system. Yes in matters of akhlaq and mustahab, on Badar we can accept these Risalat.

Molana mai agha sistani ka moqalid hu aur namaz mai shahdat e salisa ni prhta. Mere aik dost ny mjhe kaha ky agar namaz mai shahdat salisa prhna thk ni hai tu phr azan mai ku prhi jati hai waha bhi mola ki wilayat ka iqrar na kia jaye. Baraye meharbani madad farmaye ky mai usko kya ilmi jawab du.

We are bound to follow what our Imam have guided us. We find that through Ijtehad and what he is doing is qiyas which is not allowed in islam. We follow the guidance of shariah and as per shariah we need to recite this shahadah as and where prescribed. We can’t add or subtract things in namaz from ourselves

Just wanted to know if I can read namaz in clothing that has leather attached, specifically if I don’t know what leather it is. For example jeans have a leather piece attached to the back with the Brand name. Most of the time we don’t know what animal the leather is from or what country the jeans were made in.

*As per fatwa of Ayatollah Sistani (damat barakatohu)* If you are certain that the leather is artificial, it is considered pure, and there is no need to further investigate its origin. Prayer performed while wearing such leather is valid. However, if you are certain that the leather is natural and you don't think that it originated from an Islamic country or was made from an animal slaughtered according to Islamic principles, then it is impure and should not be used for prayer. Otherwise, if the leather meets the necessary criteria, it is considered clean, and prayer can be performed while wearing it.

I want tp ask that I’ve read a lot of hadith on benefits of certain duas and ziyarat, for example If a person read ziyarat e ashura on daily basis he/she will get reward like rizq, desires to be fulfiled, jannat etc but I haven’t read any thing on how a person get martyrdom. Is there any dua any wazifa or anything that a person can do and reach level of martyrdom?

Perform religious duties properly and pray after every namaz .

Could you shed some light on the topic of the rewards gained by giving sadaqah or charity/assisting the needy if they were non muslims vs if they are a muslim. Is there a difference or should we treat and aid them equally?I live in the west and the only homeless and poor people I see are drunks, disabled/mentally compromised non believers and those who seem like they use the money for drugs.

Food can be provided if it doesn’t support them in their wrong doings , if any. Rest it’s the duty of the state.

1)If after consultation with doctor, I am still confused (he says i should be taking and it is a risk to reduce and quit the medications), but I have sever side effects (dyskenies) and am afraid of it becoming more. Is it permissible to make istikhara for quiting the medications? 2) When and how much are we allowed to talk about our secrets? For example about childhood abuse to a therapist. I feel I have come over it but i feel depressed and may have it subconsiously and people around me have adviced me about working on the traumas. Am I allowed to talk about it in this case and also to a female therapist whom I have contact with already?

1) In such cases actual Istekhara is consultation of specialists. So please onsult other specialists. May Allah give you shifa. 2) If it will help u in reducing your trauma then only you can but only that much which doesn’t expose those who were involved.
