Question: Does masturbating during daytime of Ramadhan invalidate the fast, regardless of whether or not it leads to ejaculation? What is the penalty that should be incurred by one who does so? What is the ruling for a woman who engages in masturbation during daytime of Ramadhan, irrespective of whether or not it leads to discharge?
Answer: If a person masturbates with the intention of ejaculating and actually ejaculates, his fast is rendered invalid and he must make it up by way of qadha as well as pay the penalty (kaffara) which is fasting for two successive months or feeding sixty poor people. If he masturbates with the intention of ejaculating but does not ejaculate, he must complete the fast with the intention of pleasing the Almighty and then do it qadha.
If he masturbates without the intention of ejaculating and he does not normally ejaculate, knowing that discharge is probable and it actually happens —he has to do qadha without the penalty. However, if such a person was confident that no discharge would take place and it actually happens — no qadha is required. In all these cases, there is no difference between a man and a woman.
Question: I masturbated in Ramadhan and I did not know that masturbation is haram. How should I go about my previous fasts?
Answer: If you knew in the beginning that masturbation is haram and that it invalidates fasting, you should observe qadha and give kaffara. The kaffara is to either feed sixty poor and needy Shia people or fast for sixty days (31 days in a row). If you did not know the hukm (ruling) and masturbated due to inculpable (innocent) ignorance, your fast is in order and qadha is not necessary.
It is not haraam to meet on such days but in respect of these days if one waits then it is better.

Even during previous Imams time there is no record of any of our Imams having led Jumuah except Imam Ali
548. Question: Is it permissible to listen to religious songs in praise of Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) that are accompanied with music?
Answer: Songs (al-ghinã’) are harãm absolutely. However, singing praise [of the Prophet or the Ahlul Bayt] that is sung with a good tune but is not in ghinã’ form is without problem.
As for the music, it would be allowed, if it is not suitable for entertainment and amusement gatherings.

1) The girl can ask for whatever she likes for mahr but ideally it should be agreed between the man and the woman beforehand including when and how it should be given.
2) The woman has the right with consultation with her family and her spouse to be.
3) It should be in accordance with the society and social status of the woman.
4) Amir al-Mu’minin (‘a) has declared:
عن علیّ (ع) قال: «لاتغالوا بمهور النساء فتکون عداوة.»
Do not set substantial Mahr for women and do not compete in its excess for this causes enmity.

No.
Yes that is the bare minimum but obviously the more that is covered the better, especially depending on the context, in most cases it would be inappropriate to be topless in front of others therefore it would need to be covered too.
Same in front of mahram as well especially mother and sister.
Jee correct hai.
It is fine to sleep after Fajr but better to stay awake until sunrise.
If they are married couple or mahram then there is no need for parda, as long as the place where the woman is doing Sajdah is by the knees of the man or behind, then it is fine
1) Example of Ilm al Ijmali:
A person may know that impurity has occurred in one of the vessels, but he does not know precisely whether it is in the first, second or third vessel.
Similarly, a person knows that the most knowledgeable exists but does not know exactly who is the most knowledgeable, therefore he can follow any one of them about whom we have Ilm al Ijmali and not the rest.
2) No it is not the same as Ihtiyaat as in that case you need to learn views of all the mujtahids irrespective of whether they are aalam or not.

Yes.
No but Ghusl will be wajib. Also watching such arousing scenes if intentional is a sin.
It’s a process.
Keep doing what you are doing.
No we should not tell people. As long as they are not Syed, you can give them sadaqah without telling.
1. Fasting on 1st day of Muharram highly recommended. Imam Ridha (pbuh) asks his companion, Ar Rayyan ibn Shabeeb – “Are you fasting?” He answers no. Imam then says: “Yabna Shabeeb! This is the day when Zakariyya at 75 years prayed to his Rabb (3:38) for a child. Allah accepts his dua and commands angel to go to his mihraab and announce the good news of a son Yahya (3:39). One who fasts and invokes Allah He will accept as the dua of Zakariyya”
2. It is mustahab to fast on the first nine days of the month.
If you consider Agha Makarem to be next a’alam after Agha Sistani, or two just witnesses tell you that is the case, then it is permissible.
If you realise before Ruku of 3rd rakat then you go back, recite it, continue the Namaz and do sajdah sahw at the end. If you remember after Ruku of 3rd rakat then continue the Namaz finish it and then do sajdah sahw.
You can pray behind as long as there is either a barrier between you or enough gap (at least 1m) between the places of prostration.

Question: Does masturbating during daytime of Ramadhãn invalidate the fast, regardless of whether or not it leads to ejaculation? What is the penalty that should be incurred by one who does so? What is the ruling for a woman who engages in masturbation during daytime of Ramadhãn, irrespective of whether or not it leads to discharge?
Answer: If a person masturbates with the intention of ejaculating and actually ejaculates, his fast is rendered invalid and he must make it up by way of qadhã as well as pay the penalty (kaffãra) which is fasting for two successive months or feeding sixty poor people. If he masturbates with the intention of ejaculating but does not ejaculate, he must complete the fast with the intention of pleasing the Almighty and then do it qadhã.If he masturbates without the intention of ejaculating and he does not normally ejaculate, knowing that discharge is probable and it actually happens —he has to do qadhã without the penalty.
We have to see our behaviour and our diet as well as our company. Both the things we eat and the people we associate with can affect us negatively and positively. Therefore we need to pay attention to these things. In addition, we have to spend some time alone in contemplation in order to get closer to our nature and purify ones self. The best way of purity is to get closer to Muhammad and Aale Muhammad peace be upon them all and try to emulate their lofty behaviour.
Yes but we must strive for certainty.

Follow all the commands of Allah like wajib and observe halal. Stay away from haraam and sins.

If you are convinced that the water is reaching the skin then it is allowed. But it is up to you to investigate and research whether that is the case.
No problem as long as the hair is used from humans or halal animals.
Make them up, and for every fast you feed one person (or give them the equivalent for one meal).
1) If the investments are savings then yes, and it would be once. For example if I have an investment of £5000 which is saved for a whole year, I will pay £1000 on it and then that investment is khums’d and I do not need to pay on it again even if it stays for another year
2) Correct

1) Wilayatul Faqih means that in the ghaybat of the Imam (as), a mujtahid has some of the functions that are required in a Muslim society such as right of distribution of inheritance, marriage and divorce rights, and so on.
2) Marja is followed in Fiqh rules. It is everyone’s own responsibility to research their aqidah and make sure it is correct therefore that is unrelated to the matter of taqlid.
3) The rules of following a marja are mentioned in the beginning of the risalah of all the maraje and are almost identical.
It would be problematic given Agha’s view on makeup.

1) Mujtahid is for Taqleed in Fiqhi matters, and Rehbar is leader in social and political affairs.
2)Either a person can be a mujtahid themselves or follow a mujtahid in order to know the rulings of shariah which are necessary for daily life.

Hadith states that one who is anger if he is standing should sit down and if he is sitting then lie down.
Also to drink water.
Try to refrain from such situations which make one angry. If one realises that they are in such a situation to walk away from it.
As for 2) you do not need to seek forgiveness from.
As for 1 and 3 if it is not possible to contact them then there is a form of sadaqah called Radd al madhalim. It is taken out with the intention of penitence for the wrongdoing one has done to others and is no longer in contact with.
Similarly the ones who you can contact you can just send a general message asking for forgiveness whilst keeping in mind the thing you said or did.
Yes
Depends if that would be considered as beautifying oneself and if so then it would be necessary to cover in light of Quran 24:31

Qurbatan illa Allah is sufficient
If Bohra is not showing enmity towards other Imams (from Imam Musa Kazim onwards) and they are practicing all the necessity of religion (like salat, sawm etc) then it is allowed.
If car payments and vacations are legitimate expenses which are part of your lifestyle and not considered extravagant then you can deduct those too.
For example, they are in accordance with how much you earn and people who earn similar to you also have those expenses in society.
According to Agha Sistani, based on obligatory precaution, one should refrain from doing so.
Ghusl only becomes wajib when you climax, and whoever climaxes. If you get intimate but you do not climax, then Ghusl will not be wajib. If only your husband climaxes then only he has to do Ghusl.

Ruling 348. In such a case, Ghusl will be wajib if there was penetration to that extent

Q 604: What is your opinion regarding one’s participation in Friday prayers nowadays when the Twelfth Imam is not present? Is it obligatory or not for someone to attend Friday prayers when they do not believe that the Friday prayer imam to be just?
A: Even though Friday prayer is considered an alternative obligation during this period of time and it is not considered obligatory for people to participate in it, one should not deprive oneself of the blessings gained through attending the prayer solely due to doubt about the justice of the imam or due to irrelevant excuses.
https://www.leader.ir/en/book/32/Practical-Laws-of-Islam
There is no fixed way but the best way is to go into sajdah and say Shukran lillah 100 times is most recommended but even 10 times would suffice.
You must make sajdah on any natural substance which grows from the ground as long as it is not eaten or worn, so any clay, mud, dust, leaf, grass, paper, wood, stone etc is sufficient.
If you can’t find any of the above then you must repeat the prayer if you made sajdah on the carpet.
If it is running water, then once is enough. If less than Kurr than 2 times, and better 3 times.
If it brings you closer to God then it is a test, and if it takes you further away then it is a punishment. (Paraphrased from Hadith).
Mostly our Imams (as) were in the agricultural sector (Imam Ali (as) has cultivated land, dug wells and grown crops in unused areas outside of Madinah, and then subsequently left them in inheritance to his children.
Imam Husayn (as) sold one of those wells in order to fund his expenditure for the journey of Karbala.
After the event of Karbala, Imams (as) continued this and they also entered into various areas of trade, especially the buying and freeing of slaves.

I’m assuming u don’t know it contains pork gelatine. The reason I’m asking is because parents are having debates about it and some argue it’s not permissible due to that, but some are arguing it’s not consumed via mouth and that it’s for medicinal purpose to keep the kids healthy. Alternative is a less effective injection, which is a hassle on its own to convince a child to get a needle in their arm.I did enquire regarding this from Agha Sistani’s office and they said it’s fine due to being for medicinal purpose.
Islamically there is nothing wrong with being career orientated. You should try and explain to your parents regarding this. However even then if they don’t agree you cannot go against their wishes if this will hurt them.
My parents do not wish for me to study any professional degree (engineering or business) since they don't want me to work in any private firms. The only fields I am open to are medicine or to work as a teacher. They say that living with them I cannot work anywhere except the option given to me but once I am married then i can do as my " husband" wants.Islamically there is nothing wrong with being career orientated. You should try and explain to your parents regarding this. However even then if they don’t agree you cannot go against their wishes if this will hurt them.

Question: Is it permissible to work at a store that sells pork in the sense that the Muslim supervisor asks one of his employees to give pork to the customer?

If you are initiating the divorce, then you must pay the mahr to your wife before the divorce if you have not already done so.
Other than that, there is no obligation on you, however, it is better to give more than just the mahr as the Quran states:

Divorce is twice. Then, either keep [her] in an acceptable manner or release [her] with good treatment. And it is not lawful for you to take anything of what you have given them unless both fear that they will not be able to keep [within] the limits of Allah . But if you fear that they will not keep [within] the limits of Allah, then there is no blame upon either of them concerning that by which she ransoms herself. The fluid which a woman discharges in the state of lustfulness and which is called ejaculation – which normally takes place during orgasm – is treated as semen and it will cause janabat (in which case ghusl becomes obligatory). That is to say, ghusl becomes obligatory irrespective of whether there is climax or not. As for the fluid which comes out without lust or the fluid that comes but does not spread out to the underwear and which is only created with little sexual provocation, it does not cause any taklif (obligation) and if there is little fluid that reaches even the underwear but it is little, it is not considered to be ejaculation, so ghusl does not become obligatory.
The Holy Prophet (S.A.W.) said: “Islam will continue to be triumphant until there have been twelve Caliphs, all of them from Quraysh.”

In al-Khisal, Shaykh al-Saduq records the following on pages 466-7:
Ibn Mas`ud’s narration is related in different ways of narration, all related to Mujalid ibn Sa`id. At any rate, in some ways, Mujalid ibn Sa`id is not mentioned.
…Qays ibn `Abd narrated: We were sitting around `Abdullah ibn Mas`ud when a Bedouin came and asked about him. “I am `Abdullah,” answered he. “Did your Prophet (S) tell you about the number of his successors?” asked the Bedouin. “Yes, he did. They are twelve, like the number of the Israelite disciples,” answered `Abdullah.
In the same documentation, the narrations are recorded in Kamal al-Din wa Itmam al-Ni`mah, 271.
The famous scholar al-Dhahabi says in Tadhkirat al-Huffaz, vol. 4, p. 298, and Ibn Hajar al-’Asqalani says in al-Durar al-Kaminah, vol. 1, p. 67 that Sadruddin Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin al-Hamawayh al-Juwayni al-Shafi’i was a great scholar of Hadith.
The same Al-Juwayni reports from Abdullah ibn Abbas (r) from the Prophet (s) who said, “I am the chief of the Prophets and Ali ibn Abi Talib is the chief of successors, and after me my successors shall be twelve, the first of them being Ali ibn Abi Talib and the last of them being Al-Mahdi.”
Al-Juwayni also narrates that the Messenger of Allah (s) informed: “I and Ali and Hasan and Husayn and nine of the descendants of Husayn are the purified ones and the inerrant.” [Al-Juwayni, Fara’id al-Simtayn, Mu’assassat al-Mahmudi li-Taba’ah, Beirut 1978, p. 160.]

Question: Can a Shia man or woman marry a Sunni?
Answer: If there is fear that he or she might be misled, it is not permissible. The marriage is not advisable even if there is no such fear because of the consequences that the marriage may have for him/her or his/her children in the future.
The above is answer from Ayatollah Sistani.
As far as I understand your question, it is not allowed.

It is possible and in fact very recommended. In the jamaat of ladies everyone would stand in one line including the Imam.
It is better that one who has more knowledge of the deen, and more taqwa, is the one who leads the jamaat.
If it is seen as disrespect then it must be avoided.
Surah Baqarah, verse 230
And if he has divorced her [for the third time], then she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him. And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies], there is no blame upon the woman and her former husband for returning to each other if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allah . These are the limits of Allah, which He makes clear to a people who know.
No they are brother and sister because their father is one and therefore it is haraam
No problem in participating but women should not stare at the men’s chests.
But will the people that are walking past the jhuloos not get a negative idea about Islam by seeing this type of azadari on the streets? As this is being done in the west where it is not a norm to see people beat their chest. That is up to individuals to decide themselves.

Husbands have authority but not to that extent.
Being good to relatives is an obligation. Husband can not prevent that.
Secondly, husband cannot ask wife to do anything against the shariah.
Only authority that husband has that wife has to get permission to leave the house and she has to be willing when it comes to sexual desires. (That doesn’t mean force but she shouldn’t refuse without any good reason).

Evolution and creation can be reconciled.
(Muhammad ibn Ali al-Baqir pbuh said: Since the creation of the earth, God Almighty has created seven peoples who are not descendants of Adam. He created them from the soil of the earth and caused them to inhabit it, one after the other, each with his own people. Then, God Almighty created the father of this mankind, and He created his offspring from him." Al Sadooq 1982, 359. Arabic source, translated. Also Al-Ayashi 1991, vol. 2, 238.)
(The Prince of the Believers, Ali pbuh said: "God Almighty wanted to create a creation with His own hands after 7,000 years of Jinn and Nisnas existing on earth. He wanted to create Adam... I want to create a creature with My hands, and I want to make from his offspring prophets, messengers, righteous servants, and guided Imams, and make them vicegerents among My creation on My earth, who command them against disobeying Me, warn them of My torment, guide them to My obedience, and guide them to the path toward Me. I shall make them Proofs of Mine upon the others, and I will exterminate the Nisnas on My earth and cleanse it of them." Al-Qumi 1983, vol 1, 36. Arabic source, translated.)
We understand from the narrations of the household of The Prophet pbuhap about these beings called Nisnas, meaning human like in Arabic. Nowadays we know from Science about Neanderthals and Homo Erectus, and other human like beigns which have been confirmed by the fossil records, which preceded Homo Sapines. Imam Muhammad al-Baqir pbuh and Imam Ali pbuh knew and talked about it over 1000 years ago.

The rule is for masjids with Shia imam of jamaat, however, it is recommended to join with the (REMOVED) in prayer especially if it would give a good impression of our faith. You would have to make your own niyyat and do all the recitations yourself in a low voice.
The narrations emphasise it for those who can see the masjid from their houses so I think you would be outside that criteria.
If you can attend without much difficulty then you should

Q1899. What is the ruling in the matter of working in banks that deal with ribā, especially if there are no other jobs to do?
A: If the work in the bank is, in any way, related to ribā-based transactions, it is not permissible. However, the claim that no other ḥalāl employment by which to earn a living is available is not a valid reason to dabble in ḥarām business.

Depends on the kind of debt. If it is a long term debt (like a student loan, mortgage etc) then khums is wajib on whatever you have remaining after all your expenses at the end of the year.
If it’s a short term loan like day to day then you wouldn’t pay khums.
In case you have to pay, 20% of your savings of which half goes to needy and poor Sadaat whom you can give it to yourself if you choose, the other half goes to your mujtahid or his representative. The Sadaat portion can also go to your mujtahid who would distribute it accordingly.

The source of income of the one who gives you a gift is not important or relevant to you.
As long as the food is halal and tahir, you can consume it.

In these scenarios, permission from the mother is not necessary.
One must search for water or buy it if they can and if not then they have to wait until the end of the time and search for water in the mean time. If at the end of the time for namaz there is no water then they can do tayammum.

LAW: 2022
As an obligatory precaution Fitrah should be paid to Shiah poor only, who fulfil the conditions mentioned for those who deserve receiving Zakat. But if there is no deserving Shiah in one's hometown, it can be given to other deserving Muslims. But in no circumstances should Fitrah be given to Nasibi - the enemies of Ahlul Bait (A.S)
It is obligatory to pay the fitrah of a guest who arrives at his house before sunset on Eid ul fitr night
This is the ruling of Ayatollah Sistani saheb
450. If a woman sees blood continuously for three days, and then it stops for a brief period before it is seen again, and if the total number of days in which blood was seen and in which it stopped does not exceed ten, then the days in which blood flowed will be counted as of Hayz, and the in between period of respite will be of obligatory precaution, during which she will do all that she should do when she is pure, and also refrain from all those acts which are forbidden to the Haaidha.
Usually after a few months it’s syncs back up again as no one is really that concerned with moonsighting outside of Ramadhan and Eid

From Ayatollah Sistanis site:
Question: What is the Islamic opinion to swimming in unisex environments such as the beach, swimming pools, and other areas?
Answer: It is not permissible.
So the only option would be women only gyms and swimming pools but even there sometimes the lifeguards and instructors are Male.
Whole salah is void. Doubts can only be repaired in 4 rakat prayers.
You must make niyyat before dhuhr time then you would fast that day
Turbah is the best thing to perform sajdah on. If not available then any naturally grown substance which is not eaten or worn can be used for sajdah such as leaves, grass, stones etc
If your toddler will take the turbah you have to hold it in your hand and only put it down when you are doing the sajdah. It is not allowed to do it on the mat (unless the mat is made straw etc) nor is it allowed to break the namaz.
At Airport or friends house one can use white paper to do sajdah or keep a small turbah with them.
There doesn’t seem to be any prohibition as it is not liquid but better to avoid
441. The blood seen by women after the age of 60 years is not classified as Haydh. And as per recommended precaution, women who are not from Sadaat, if they see blood between the age of 50 and 60 years, having the same signs as those of Haydh, they should combine the 'dos' of mustahaza and 'don'ts' of Haaedha
There is no wudhu after wajib ghusl

Sayed Sistani’s view is that father’s permission is necessary in all cases for virgins, and also for those who have lost their virginity outside of marriage (in other words through zina).
All matters relating to the verse including your question are answered in this lecture https://youtu.be/svJwsS2ZWJQ

I haven’t read the book so can’t comment on that.
But according to nearly all of our mujtahideen the ahadith about covering everything except face and the hands are the most authentic.
You have to obey your husband in the matter of sexual intercourse and leaving the house.
Other than that, it is mustahab to obey unless he asks you to do something haraam when you will not obey.
Yes though if it is considered external beauty then it needs to be covered from non mahrams.
So she cant put?If she puts then she has to cover her face.
You must break the fast and make it up later on . It is haraam to fast whilst travelling for less than 10 days
oh right, even if I leave after dhuhr? If you leave after Zuhr and return back home before Zuhr then you fast
آغا سیستانی کے نزدیک اگر آپ کیلئے گھر خریدنا ضرورت ہے اور اسکے بغیر آدمی نہیں رہ سکتا تو پھر خمس نہیں ہوگا ورنہ ہوگا۔
We cannot make such assumptions.
Hijab is covering everything except the hands and face. May Allah give us all the strength to obey his commands.
Wa alaykum salaam
You can pray as many as you remember you haven’t done.
Aisi soorat mein Woh roza nahi rakhega aur qasr namaz parhega hata ke 30 din guzar jayein. Phir 31ve din se poori namaz aur roza rakhega.

In this case, to whom should I pay khums? To any of them? I need to pay it as soon as possible but I don't know to whom. You can give to either one or half and half to both.
Hayz is usually thick and warm and its colour is either black or red. It is discharged with a pressure and a little irritation.

You should recite 4 Qul, Ayatul Kursi and Tasbeeh of Zahra (as) before sleeping.
Also sadaqah is giving any amount of money or goods to a person in need. No specific amount.
Try to prepare before the time of salat. When you do wudhu think of washing off not just the physical body but of cleaning the soul.
Then try to do salat in a place where there are no distractions. Pronounce each word carefully reflecting on the meanings.
Question: Meat companies slaughter a large number of chickens at one time [that is, simultaneously]. Now if the person running the slaughtering machine is a Muslim, who says takbír and says the name of Allãh only once at the time of slaughtering all the chicken [simultaneously], is it permissible for us to eat those chickens? If we have doubt about these chickens being halãl, can we [ignore that doubt and] eat them and consider them pure (tãhir)?
Answer: If he repeats the name of Allãh as long as the machine is continuing to slaughter, it is sufficient. In the event of doubt about its being halãl (a doubt which arises concerning the mentioning of the name of Allãh), it can be considered pure and be consumed.
One must gain personal satisfaction regarding moonsighting as long as the criteria have been followed

There’s no obligation to inform but also no harm in doing so either, guess it depends on the level of friendship as gheebah is only of believers.
yes that’s fine
Yes it can be considered more than kurr
If it is after istibra then it is paak
98. If an animal whose meat is halal to eat, is slaughtered in accordance with the method prescribed by Shariah, and enough blood flows out, the blood of which is still left in its body is Pak. However, the blood which goes back into the body of the animal due to breath, or because of its head having been at a higher level at the time of its slaughtering, is najis.
So how will i get to know that blood is paak or najif if i don't now the scene that where did bloood came from like its the left blood or the returned blood? You don’t need to investigate it is paak
The Quran mentions three times of prayer in 17:78.

The same thing is mentioned in Tahrirul Wasila of Ayatollah Khomeini with notes of Ayatollah Khamenei .
It is not permissible to tender the Fitrah before the month of Ramadan, rather, according to the more cautious opinion, in all circumstances. Of course, there is no objection in its payment to a poor person and then accounting it for as Fitrah on the arrival of its time.
Unless it is haydh blood with the characteristics then it would not be considered haydh
If you consider it your hometown then you must offer full prayers and fast as long as you are there irrespective whether you leave before Zuhr or after.
If when you left home to go to your second hometown you broke your fast in between which is allowed then you would have to do qadha afterwards

Yes according to Ayatollah Sistani and all the other maraje it must be up to the ankle joint as the verse of Quran states (Surah 5 verse 6)
