I wanted to know if we can keep parrots or other birds as pet in a Muslim household?

Yes

In public toilets having combode (western toilets), should we consider them paak? There are cases like: 1: if the seat is dry. 2: if the seat has some drops (might be water or urine) 3: if the seat is wet. Should we paak it by using water everytime? It is sometimes written to keep the toilet dry for others. So if it is dry, should we still purify it? We aren’t sure if any Hindu has used it.

1) We assume it is pure 2) and 3) we dry it on the basis of precaution so that if it is najasah it does not transfer.

I want to know about the reality of Makafat e amal? Is it real? Because whatever I witness till now is totally opposite, jo achy log hain un k sath hmesa bura hota hai, unhe log bhi buray milty hain. Whereas bad people always seem happy and enjoying their lives.

3:178 Those who disbelieve should not think that living longer is good for them. They are only given more time to increase in sin, and they will suffer a humiliating punishment. This is the ayat that Bibi Zainab (as) read and reminded Yazid about when he thought that he had won by killing Imām Husayn (as).

I have a good relationship with my mother Alhamdullilah. And although I do discuss my feelings with Allah (SWT), sometimes I do entrust them to my mother as it’s nice to be able to tell someone who can engage in a conversation with you. If I disclose something to her that involves something someone did to me (therefore revealing their bad behavior or “flaws”) is this considered backbiting?

If you do so without identifying the person then it is not backbiting

1) I became an adult (puberty) by the age of 14, and since then I have obviously missed fasts during haydh. Although I knew I’d have to makeup for these missed fasts but I didn’t know that if I didn’t make those up until the next Ramadan, I’d have to pay kaffara. I’m confused what to do now..? I have a lot of fasts missing and I’m making up for them but what more must I do? 2) I wasn’t sure that from the age of 9, a girl is supposed to fast regularly. I missed a lot of my fasts during that time. I’m aiming to make those up In Sha Allah but is kaffara applicable?

1) You have to give 750g of food to a needy person per fast that you missed 2) The same rule as 1 applies

1. If a woman reaches orgasm using hands or oral sex, not intercourse, does she become najis and have to make ghusl, if the orgasm happened without ejaculation? 2. If she stops herself when she feel like orgasm is coming, but still she get little small contractions, like 1-2 contractions, but she don’t let the orgasm come completely, like half orgasm, she doesn’t get completely relieved, is it still considered an orgasm, and she is najis and have to take ghusl? If the answers differs between maraja’ I would want the opinion of sistani and haeri, thank you!

Ruling 345 …As for the fluid that is discharged from the vagina when a woman engages in foreplay or imagines lustful thoughts and which is not enough to dirty other places [such as her clothing], it is pure and does not require ghusl to be performed, nor does it invalidate wuḍūʾ. However, if the discharged fluid is a lot – to the extent that it can be called an ‘ejaculation’ and it dirties clothing – then in case it is discharged when the woman reaches sexual climax and complete sexual satisfaction (orgasm), it is impure and causes janābah. In fact, even if it is not discharged at that moment, based on obligatory precaution, it is impure and causes janābah. Whenever a woman doubts whether or not a discharge of fluid was to this extent, or she doubts whether or not fluid was discharged at all, performing ghusl is not obligatory for her nor does it invalidate wuḍūʾ and ghusl. 1) Yes, based on obligatory precaution Ghusl is still necessary 2) If she stops before the orgasm starting then the Ghusl would not be necessary but if it has started even if it is not total, Ghusl will be necessary.

If someone buys a membership to a place that says it is non transferrable and they share / give it to someone else and they use that (the membership says the person who it is gifted to is the buyer) to buy food etc., is that food and transaction haram?

No it is not haraam unless the reputation of Muslims would be affected in which case it is not allowed by the first person (whose membership it is). The person who uses it is not responsible in any case.

Sometime we got drops of some thing while doing romance, pleasure like kissing and all. Are those drops consider Paak and no need of ghusl?

It is paak. See: Ruling 345. If some fluid comes out of the penis and the man does not know whether it is semen, urine, or something else – in the event that it comes out with three characteristics: it is accompanied by lust, it comes out with a gush, and one’s body feels weak after it has come out – then that fluid is ruled to be semen; and if none of these three characteristics is present or if even one of them is not, it is not ruled to be semen. However, in the case of a sick person, it is not necessary that the fluid comes out with a gush or that at the time of coming out his body feels weak; rather, if the only characteristic present is that it comes out with lust, it is ruled to be semen.

I live in abroad and at workplace am friends with my colleagues. When we are having lunch, sometimes a colleague might come up and take a bite from my plate. My question is that if I know the other person is Hindu or of any religion not of the book, can I still continue eating my lunch as stopping seems odd and will make the other person feel I did it because of them?

You can politely mention to them that you are not comfortable sharing the food from your plate, and if they would like some, then they should ask and not take. If they touched the food then you cannot eat it.

Years ago, when I was far from Islam, I used to steal a lot. I mainly stole clothes, drugstore stuff, jewlery and even food. Since I became religious, which was years ago I have repented and never done it again. Now many people say I have to compensate the owners. I don’t even have everything I stole anymore. I threw everything away except for the clothes because I didn’t know If I should throw them away aswell or donate them. If I theore go to one of the stores which I stole from, they’re either gonna not care they will call the police. So my question is what do I have to do, – to make this up, – to make Allah forgive me – to delete this big sin of my record.

You can give sadaqah to the value of the things you stole (as much as you remember) with the intention of radd al madhalim. Allah is the most forgiving and merciful.

I want to ask if our khalu (husband of my mother’s sister) and uncle (husband of my father’s sister) are mahram until my aunties [khala(mothers sister) and phopho(fathers sister)] are alive?

Khalu and phuppha are not mahram

I am a bit confused and would like some clarification as to why wearing colored prescription lens is considered a form of “beautification” and therefore impermissible but a cosmetic procedure like rhinoplasty is allowed. Especially if the contacts are worn for vision purposes but due to the benefit of altering eye color, one wears the colored options As for the rhinoplasty, the reasoning is due to insecurity regarding the shape and hopes of correcting a “flaw” in its appearance

Both the coloured contacts and rhinoplasty will be considered as a beautification and would have to be covered from non Mahrams unless the surgery is done for a medical (not cosmetic) reason.

I want to ask you that what will be the time period of Nikkah Mutah iddah if both husband and wife do not do intercourse during their temporary marriage , but they have shared intimate moments together.

What is the wazifa for child?

41 times Surah Fatiha after Fajr but before sunrise

My question is regarding the verse 33 of Surah Aale Imran and the whole background of the Surah itself. Who is the Aale Imran mentioned in this verse? I came across this video from YouTube in which an esteemed school, Molana Sayyid Ali Raza Rizvi explained that the Aale Imran is the Aal of Abu Talib AS. https://youtu.be/RjPco0R3OVM?feature=shared But the verse 35 of this Surah talks about Imran, the father of Maryam AS. So how can the Surah be about the Aal of Abu Talib AS?

Aale Imran is both about the family of Maryam (as) and also about Abu Talib (as).
