Is it permissible after divorce to have mutah with the x husband . Or does the wife have to have had a sexual relation with another man before, same as in remarrying an ex.

As long as there were no three divorces she can remarry her ex husband muta or permanent.

My husband and I had an irrevocable khul’a. Ex husband now wishes to reconcile. Can we do muta and if I wish to remarry him, must we have our nika read again?

Yes you may do a Muta marriage contract with him. So the Muta nikkah contract must be verbally made between you both, and that way you can go back to him with this new marriage contract.

Is it gheebat for a person to tell his/her muslim community (or police) that a particular person is going to (nauzoobillah) kill or perform zina/rape another person/muslim?
is it gheebat for a person to tell his/her muslim community that a particular person/Shia/Muslim is scamming/usurping another?

Any backbiting which prevents some one from serious crimes and sins or preventing others from such persons threat or danger is permissible and in some cases it can become obligated

My father in law suffers from cancer stage 4 and has done all treatments to cure it but nothing worked it was just more of pain to him. He is now in hospital under palliative care. Now we are waiting for him to return to Allah. My father passed away so I looked at him as my support . Now me and my husband and family are dishearten and we don't know how to ease ourselves.
Please guide us how to console in this situation.

I can understand that I saw my father in his last days on a ventilator and could not even communicate with him. It was very painful but after he left this is what I trained my self :
If my father left, the original care taker lives who was the creator of my father and blessed me with him will make others who could give me fatherly care and passion. So He swt was always there for me taking care of me. Thereforemake your connections with Allah swt and such will indeed.
So sorry to hear what kind pain you are going through. Allah swt is always there try reaching out to Him.

I would like to have the following clarifications with regards to it's permissibility in the Islamic context
1) Is it permissible to invest in cryptocurrencies?
2) Can we invest in government bonds/trust funds in a Muslim or non Muslim country?
3) Can we invest in Fixed deposits or obtain loans from non Muslim banks?
4) Can we invest in venture capital schemes, whereby we invest in halaal businesses and then sell of our investment at a higher price at a later date?

I have followed up with regards to bitcoins and other crypto currency, some responses are sayings is permissible while other replies are not permissible. I would like to have further clarification

It all depends on two things
- Is it real or just a symbolic coin.
- Is it business or gambling
- Is it associated with RIBA or usury or not.
Scholars are given different answers to the above questions so the respond varies.

When children are born they get gifts in terms of cash. Can the parents use that money on the childs expense or in paying rent or other household issues? Also does the child need to be told when he matures? What if he demands the payment?

No need how ever if the guardian uses it for the benefit of the child then he should repay extra as a gift which will be considered a financial benefit for the child

I understand that in Islam we are highly encouraged to be in the company of good righteous Muslims, but unfortunately my community is very small and I have a very difficult time finding friends who are practicing righteous Muslims. I honestly find my non-muslims friends to be more righteous and a better influence on me than the Muslims are. What should I do?

As long as there is no influence on the moral and the faith there is no problem, but many of our youth they get affected by their immoral friends and start doing immoral and unlawful activities such as forbidden relations and start doubting in their Islam due to their weakness. So examine your self before getting indulged with such friendships that might cause you to lose your faith and Islamic moral values.

What do you think about naseeb? In regards to marriage this means someone that is destined for you to marry. Some people say this is an incorrect phenomenon and others say it is definitely true.

There is both, we have to try our best to choose whichever is best not blindly get married to anyone without proper investigation due to the large rate of deception in the marriages nowadays. After that, if unexpected things start to pop in the marriage life, then one must be thankful on the positive things and be patient on the negative things and tolerate as much as possible, hence, that is when someone finds out that it was destined and naseeb, either positive or negative. Because these unexpected things are unknown to the couples, that is why they call it naseeb fate or destined.

I am not looking for a relationship, I have female friends, but I dont masturbate because i know that it is a bad sin. I just want to know if having friends of the opposite sex is worse than masturbation

If having friends of opposite sex leads to any forbidden activity, from flirting, having animated communication to masturbation, then having such friends is forbidden. If not then its better to avoid such types of opposite sex friendship relations.

So which is worse? Masturbation or opposite sex friendship

Opposite sex flirting

I had heard from a religious scholar that in our sect laylatul qadr can only be amongst 19th, 21st and 23rd night of Ramadan. Is that true? Or should we expect laylatul qadr on the night of 25th, 27th or 29th Ramadan too?

Dua of 27 ramadhan is the only dua mentions laylatul qadr
So it is good that a person takes the opportunity and do some amaal.

Last 5 odd nights are the probabilities and the highest is 23. However it moves every year on one of these it is not fixed in one night there is no authentic narration indicating that it is fixed on 23

In Sahifa Mahdi there's a dua which should be done on Thursday night 595 times Ya Hujjatul Qaim, and it mentions that we should uncover our head and feet under the sky. Does this go for women as well?

Women cannot disclose their hijab in public if such is done in public.

What if it's at home?

Sure if there is no foreign man or non mahram then it is allowed.

In normal days I apply makeup however there was a ghusl for hayd due for me which I took as usual. After the ghusl when I wiped the eye I felt slight a sign of concealer or foundation that I must have applied. Is that a barrier and makes ghusl void? Also the day I took ghusl I did not apply any makeup or something on the face.

If the substance prevents the water from reaching the skin the the wodhu or the Ghusl is deemed invalid. And the Salaat offered after such Ghusl must be repeated.

If I buy meat from a store (halal) and wash it but see the blood coming out constantly. I try my best to keep the meat under running water but it makes the mince meat (keema) too mushy so that im unable to make patties out of it. If i don't run it under water and cook it it gives off pink colored liquid (blood?) . Is this common ? Is the final
Product the cooked piece of meat halal or has it become najid?

If the blood gushes out from the slaughtered animal in its average quantities during slaughtering then the remaining blood in the flesh of the slaughtered animal is considered pure. After washing the surface of the meet externally then the blood being discharged from inside the flesh should be from the remaining blood in the flesh after the average amount of blood from the slaughtered animal is gushed out.

My son is 12 1/2 islamically and 12 and 2 months according to Julian calendar. He had some discharge. I dont think he had sexual feelings or thoughts and had ejaculation. Does this mean he is baligh and fasting, prayer and ghusl are waijib on him?

What are the signs and ruling on buloogh because i dont see it in the laws book of Sistani?

One of the following three things
Growth of pubic hair
Ejeculation of the seamen
Completing 15 full lunar years.
If none of the above the boy is not balig.
Even though such discharge starts to appear it is better to train him of the precautionary measures such as Ghusl and Salaat if possible.

I saw dark spot on his light colored shorts and it smelled like semen and it was slippery. My son was sleeping and when he woke up I saw it. Is this what you mean as ejaculation? Or is this different from ejaculation because he did not have sexual thought or action before it?

Ejaculation by wet dream. The kids are normally shy in front of their parents, so if you want me or someone else trustworthy to talk to him, the please let me know.
What you observed may be wet dream seamen ejaculation, and most of the middle eastern ethnic male they become baligh between 12 and 13.

Does this mean he had sexual thoughts and thats why he had the wet dream?

No it means that his body has reached the age where sexual hormones are being released and such triggered such discharge. Many of those who have first time wet dream they don’t have any clue what happened

Hame night fall hone mey sperm nikalta hai gis ki wajhe se gusal e janabat wajib ho jata hai or kapde na paak ho jate hai .
Night fall ke time par hamari ek dam akh khul jaye or hum foran toilet me chale jaye hamara sperm toilet mey nikle phir hum toilet karke taharat le le to kia hum par gusal e janabat wajib hai or hamere kapde na paak hai jo humne taharat lene ke baad phene?

Yes whenever the sperm comes out one must perform Ghusl Janaba and if the cloth was touched by the sperm then the sperm needs to be washed away from the cloth

If a husband and wife do not have sexual relations for over 4 years due to health reasons will this invalidate the nikah or effect anything?

No it does not invalidate the marriage. This a strange belief not found in the school of Ahlul Bayt as

My parents do not wish for me to study any professional degree (engineering or business) since they don’t want me to work in any private firms. The only fields I am open to are medicine or to work as a teacher. They say that living with them I cannot work anywhere except the option given to me but once i am married then i can do as my " husband" wants.
I do understand that working in a non-muslim country especially for women is difficult but living in (removed) which specially caters to Islamic moral codes I dont understand the problem my parents see. And if there is something wrong according to the islamic laws then how does it become fine once I’m married.
I dont want to fight with my parents butI see no way out of this.
Is it Islamically wrong for a woman to be career oriented? How can i convince them to let me study what i want?

My beloved daughter there has been so many cases of women being abused indecently until cases of rape in UAE and Qatar by the bosses of the private firms and businesses. Some by black mailing the girls other by giving them something in their drinks and so on. Horrifying cases. And since many of them get away easily without any proof and even if the girl complains she and her family get deported. So please be careful in whatever you choose. I think your father is not telling you the true reasons. Many foreign girls are oppressed and the law cannot do much. So of the low income families daughters are also given money to support their family and forced to do wrong and many of them do not have any choice except to accept.
Sorry for these bitter facts I know this because many share their pain to me.

I would like to know if I am allowed to do the tarawih in groups in mosque (so with sunni people) since i do not speak arabic and it is really hard for me to do then.
I know how to write and read arabic but very badly and I do not even know how to perform tarawih by myself.

Taraweeh is a forbidden bida. It was not practiced in the time of the prophet. It was innovated by the second caliph as mentioned by the Sunni historians. We respect our brothers in Islam but we do not support the legislation of taraweeh

I thought that taraweeh were performed by the holy prophet sawas but only in individuals ? I heard that we were supposed to do them but by ourselves in our home. Correct me if I’m wrong

No my beloved you are mistaken.
There are many recommended Salaat in the Shia school narrated by our beloved Imam AS offered individually and not in congregation. However the way our Sunni brothers pray we do not have. If we had I would’ve mentioned it to you

What is the 'nafs?' In general? Is the nafs (the thing comprised of intellect, desires, passions and creativity) the soul or does the soul drive the nafs? (Can you please elaborate on this point? The general definitions are too vague)

When Imam Ali is referred to as anfusana, what is the extent of similarity in essence to his relationship to the Prophet?

How does this relate to the idea of wilayah, which according to Shaheed Mutahhari means that two things become so close that they are indistinguishable?

NAFS (lust and desires or animal inside us), ROOH (spirit the pure power of intellect or an angel inside us), when NAFS becomes under total control of the AQL (ROOH) , then it becomes like one thing, because then NAFS does not do any thing which goes against the AQL. So when the angel takes control of the animal then they both become cohered, as one distinguishable.

To contextualize my question, I'm going to tell you what I'm not asking: Im not asking for proof of Ismah as a doctrine, but rather why Prophets have been given ismah in the context of predestination and free will. Moreover, I am not asking for proof of free will either.

My question is in multiple parts and I've done my best to break it down into yes/no type questions. okay, Bismillah.

Were Prophets chosen from the start or were they chosen conditional to whether someone in a society was capable of accepting Prophethood (by their own merit)?

If the former, then can't the objection be brought up that those prophets were essentially predestined heaven (and therefore making Allah unjust in some way)?

If the latter, then is it possible for ordinary people to reach the level of prophets?

If this is not possible and if what makes prophets better than ordinary humans the fact that Allah has granted them wahy and knowledge, then is it fair ask why ordinary people don't also receive that same treatment as mentioned by 12:24 which would thereby guarantee them heaven and protection from sin?

If the granting of wahy and knowledge is conditional upon someone having intelligence and purity, then is it a reasonable objection to say that intelligence is not a controllable factor?

If intelligence is not a controllable thing, then can the same objection be brought up that most intelligent people who are granted prophethood are guaranteed heaven (thus making Allah unjust again) because their uncontrollable faculty of reasoning was why they were granted wahy which prevents them from sin? (That is, someone's uncontrollable circumstances has led them to have a higher capacity, and therefore they have a greater opportunity to reach a higher level of heaven than ordinary people)

The Prophets are chosen based on the merits and their characteristics which Allah swt is aware of, so He swt knows in advance the characteristics thus chooses based on such. And since Allah swt has the knowledge of the future, so He swt chooses them to be Prophets AS before even their creation. Decision of Allah swt and His will does not bound to time, however, the execution of the decision is time bounded, like Mohammad SAWW was prophet SAWW in the will of Allah swt always, He swt chose to send him SAWW when he was born in this world.
The Prophets AS have choice to do good or bad, they are tested on their capacities, thus Almighty swt sets a proof and reason for the creation for his choice, their tests are on higher levels, such as if you would have done what Prophet Yunus AS had done , you would not have ended in the belly of the whale, it is Yunus AS who was tested in such instance and did not pass, though he was infallible from sins, he did not commit a sin per se, but his error was serious and it required him to get into isolation and training so such does not repeat.

Is trading in currencies halal -Forex trading

As long as it does not involve any type of usury or forbidden loan interest there is no problem in such by itself.

If your in laws made you marry their son on some lies and made end number of promises because of which you agreed to get married in the first place . In detail suppose you told them that you want to continue your further studies first then would want to get married but they promised you they will never waste your time and will make you do your studies infact they tell you that is the reason they want you to get married so they can make you study and post marriage they tell you on the face that was a lie and they got you married so can work for them and many things like these .
What should we do ?

You cannot break this marriage just for that.
They committed a great sin by lying. You are not obligated to work for them. You can continue your studies

I want to do mutah, with conditions, with someone, to get to know him.
My dad and grand father passed away.

I heard that I dont need permission from anybody. It still be a halal relation.
But I also heard that I need permission from my guardian.

What is the fiqh law please?

One should refrain from Mutaa and get involved in a permanent marriage and it is strongly adviced in such as your case to not let the guard down because there are many out there they will misuse the woman and abuse her in the name of the Muta. So please be careful.

I have a question concerning gusl.

We can do ONE gusl for many niyyat right?

So, If someone have to make two wajib gusl, and , after finishing his ghusl, he is not sure if he made the niyyat of the second gusl.
For example, I do one gusl for gusl hayz and janabat,
But after my gusl, I dont remember if I said the niyyat for jannabat.

So , my question is, when we do gusl, and we forget to say the niyyat, but , we are aware that we are making this gusl,
The ghusl still correct?

The Ghusl is correct inshAllah. If there was an awareness in the heart that she was doing a wajib Ghusl and there was a cause which made it obligatory upon him.

Does doubting about passing gas during namaz makes it baatil? Because I have been this issue of doubt for few years and I always redo my namaz about 5 times.

I dont know if I really have a ilness or its just shaytan that disturb me.
I already did a treatment and take medicine but its the same problem

I know the importance of salat and I am always trying to pray at time but this problem just make me really sad because I am really scared if its the fact that Allah (swt) don’t want to listen my voice? I dont know what to do.
I still making many duas, isteghfar and seek help from the Ahlul Bayt(as) ..

Shaytan always tries to mess up with those who have love of Allah swt in their heart. So please ignore the doubts totally and act upon the certainty. Therefore if you are not sure that your wodhu broke or not you can carry on your worship and say no nothing came out. Even if you feel some kind of movement or feeling of wind in the passing of the wind area. Because many times due to the area being sensitive many have complained certain sensation or hair movements or feeling of leaking wind and so on. All such must be ignored.

But, if it's an illness, what is the fiqh law about this kind of situation?

I heard that I have to keep a bottle of water near me during my salat, and when I pass gas, I just have to do wouzou and continue my namaz.

Is it true please?

If there was an illness of continuous passing gas without an intermission of pause that allows a person to do wodhu and pray, then one can do the wodhu and pray and ignore any gases passed during the Salaat.

However, if a person have some intermittent time or a pause in which the gases stop and that pause was enough to do wodhu and pray limiting on the wajibaat then one must choose that time to pray as long as that pause is not out of the time range of the Salaat.

Agha Sistani's site shows whom to give Diyah money.

The link to the site is given hereunder:
https://www.sistani.org/english/qa/search/2881257/

Please guide how to proceed

The Diya money is given to the first degree of the heir, all those who were not involved in the killing, those who were involved in the killing will give to the first degree heirs if available, if not to the second-degree heir and so on.

Kindly refer to the link sent in previous question. I think your answer to my question is not relevant. The question relates to abortion.
https://www.sistani.org/english/qa/search/2881257

Miscarriage is different than the abortion in the Islamic frame of reference in killing a child. The one who causes such killing must give diyah to the heir of the killed child. If the husband was the cause then he should and if the wife was then she should and if both were, then they both should give the diyah money to the heirs.
The ruling you referred does not differ from what I said. In case the mother aborts the child, she must give the blood money (Diyyah) to the father or other heirs. And if the father carries out the abortion, the blood money (Diyyah) is obligatory on him and he must give it to the mother. If it is the doctor who carries out the abortion, it is obligatory on him to give the blood money although he may abort the child on the parents’ request, (though they would share in the sin). He must give the blood money except for when the heirs exempt him.
It would suffice for the blood money of the fetus into which soul has entered to give 525 mithqals of silver. That is when the fetus is male and if it is female, half of that amount should be paid. As a measure of obligatory precaution, the Diyyah of the fetus which dies in the womb is also the same.

One thing that I want to ask now is : When husband and wife ask the doctor for the opearation, how he can be responsible. I feel they should be responsible. The question is then who is the first heir or second heir who should receive the money.

If they both were responsible, then they both share the Diyah money and if the killed child has siblings and grandparents, then the diyah should be given to them according to their share in the inhertince if they are alive.

I know what the number 313 means and a number of scholars claim that if you see it often it is a sign that you may be one of those within the number when Al Qaim (a.t.f.s) arrives. However I think it may mean something else for me. I see this number everywhere all the time and sometimes even 4 or 5 times in a day. I see it on license plates, number of street buildings. Whenever I open my phone most of the time the clock reads 3:13 and in a game I play on my phone, brochures I pick up and read, restaurant menus, etc, etc. Do you think Allah trying to tell me something?

Allah swt knows the best.
We pray that you are one of those chosen ones InshAllah. Improve your deeds and actions and it will be so.

If there is a problem on praying on Sajdagah you can pray on a piece of paper, if there is a problem on praying on a paper, then you can pray on prayer carpet in front of them and no need to repeat the salaat. If there is a complication and hardship associated with praying on the Sajdagah then you do not need to put Sjadagah in front of her or in front of any Sunni who becomes annoyed with it and might cause an insult or disrespect to you. As for the marriage with the right person, pray Namaaz Jafer Tayaar daily at night and you will see best results as soon as possible, do not leave this great amazing salaat.

Khula means, the wife buys her divorce from the husband. In other words a wife must pay or give up her Mehr to the husband so he can issue the decree of divorce, with at least two witnesses. So your khula has not happened properly, and you are still the wife of your husband.

As a girl?

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD2F0DFA18BFBD747

I was thinking of starting a youtube vlogging channel along with my wife. I want to know whether that is permissible in Islam.

Can you please explain further what do you mean by that and a few details about what will you be doing in it.

I have always wanted to be a vlogger, which is my passion.
The plan is to take a camera and record my wife and I exploring the city i.e.trying restaurants, visiting new places and giving honest reviews which will be recorded on video and uploaded to youtube.

If she is giving you the permission to do so, and if she will be in her proper Islamic attire, and if she will not make any lustful moves, poses, expressions, or anything that could cause lust, temptations, seduction in hearts of the men towards her, then it is ok, otherwise it will not be permissible.

Mai Australia mai rahti hu or mujha yaha py solar eclipse ki timing ka pata nhi chal raha hai. Mai dar sal pregnant hu or suraj girhan mai kuch etiyat hoty hai is liya mera time janna zaroori hai. Maine yeha py mulano se jab ye sawal kiya tho unha ne jawab diya ka Australia mai visible nhi hai tho phir bi mera dil mai shaq hai. Kya mai pakistan ka timing ka mutabik us time py ehtiyat kar sakti hu jesa ka pakistan mai 9:55:13 pm py hai tho yaha py 5 hours ka difference hai thi kya mai 5 hours ka difference se ehiyat karu?

For solar and lunar eclipse it happens same time as in any other country so if it is happening now in pakistan then it is happening now in Australia

If what you said is true then, this case is a serious case, your sister must contact the police and the social service to get relief, and tell her to recite Dua Joshen Kabeer regularly if not then atleast once a week.
May Almighty swt be with her.

I wanted to ask a question about Mutah. I am currently in contact with a guy who is quite serious about our relationship and want to take it further. Both of our families are aware that we talk to each other and do not have any objections with that. But we have never met yet and are planning to meet in a while. So, I and the guy, both want to perform Mutah to stay in a Halal relationship, but my father doesn't agree with that, thinking that the boy will take advantage of it.

So I wanted to ask you how can I convince my father to let me perform Mutah, and should I do it ?
And also is it possible if my father put some conditions ?

The conditional Mutah is what most of the parents do, and that is the Muta without touching, only for talking openly about any thing, even about private things, however, any private talk should remain private between the couples unless if it was a confusing matter and required counseling, which much be done with the consensus to disclose such information.

I had a little question in regards to looking for the qualities in a spouse. How important is the aspect of the physical appearance? Should you just accept a proposal even, if there's no attraction? Or can you reject a proposal solely based on the physical features?

Physical attraction is a relative thing, someone beautiful for you might not be beautiful for others, so it is a relative issue, therefore, the first priority should be the truthfulness and tolerance, then comes the beauty, for if someone is beauty and unfaithful is not helpful.

Mera sawal yeh hai ke mei namaz ki paband thi aur 2, 3 mahina se aisa hogaya hai ke mei namaz achi tarah se padh nahi sakti ho. Zohr aur asar ki padhti ho toh maghrib ki choot jati hai. Mei quran aur Allah ke zikr mei hamesha rehti ho par namaz panjgana padhne mei susti hoti hai. Mei pehle aisi nahi thi. Na chahte howe bhi meri namaz qaza hojati hai. Aur mei bahut busy rehti work and family meri first priority hogiye hai.
Iska ka kuch hal batayiye.

Namaz is the best worship it connects a person direct to Allah swt and Shaytan does not like it at all so seems you have started pleasing the Shaytan unintentionally and began displeasing Allah swt. Pls be careful and do not allow the whispering of Shaytan work on you. Recite abundantly sura naas

Unfortunately, I broke my fast today because I couldn’t stand the sexual tension and desire. How will I repay this day?

Three things:
- Repent and seek forgiveness from Allah swt
- Make up this day later
- And if you had broken the fast deliberately and intentionally then you pay penalty by either feeding 60 poor or by fasting 60 days

Is that per day?
So if you break the fast intentionally do you fast 4 months and feed 120 poor?

Per day, fast two moths or feed 60 poor per day

When I was about (removed) years old I was sexually molested, it went on until I think I was (removed) and/or (removed). My dad passed away when I was (removed) so all this began after his death. When I was (removed), I started watching pornography nonstop. I watched it all the time. I don’t remember how many times a week I did but I got hooked on it. I became very depressed and I watch till this day. I tried to stop watching it for a month and it worked, but I gave in sometime this week and watched. The feeling it gives me after I finish is repulsive and I don’t want to feel this way. I am aware that this bad habit of mine is blocking my blessings. I’ve never been in love, I never had a serious relationship before. I want to meet someone soon but in order for that to happen I want to heal and I want to get rid of this disgusting habit. Please do not judge me.

I am so sorry to hear your problem. It is seriously painful however this world is the world of test. Everyone goes through certain serious difficult times, but my beloved daughter, with the help of Allah swt one, can get through these crisis.
Make a pact with Allah swt, you want something from Him swt and He wants you to stop this bad habit. Ask Almighty swt to help you and stop this immediately and He will give you what you want. Think of Imam Hussain AS and Lady Zainab AS, if they know that you are watching these forbidden films, how will that be on their hearts. Lady Zainab AS went through a lot of serious crisis but yet showed us that we can have Sabr and patience.
If you feel you have become addicted and cannot stop immediately, then you can wean your self from it slowly. Reduce the time you are watching and the frequency of your watching every week, and so on. I will pray for you and you also pray and put efforts to stop this forbidden act. May Allah swt help you seek forgiveness and give you the strength to stop this evil act.

I've a question. I'm planning to marry a girl (removed)yrs who's nikah was performed to another guy when she was (removed)yrs. She did not had any contact with the boy and when she was (removed) decided to end the nikah. The boy and his family is not cooperating in divorce. So in this case, can I perform my nikah with her and get her divorce later on? Or she should get her divorce first and do the nikah?
Note: The girl and boy never met nor did they see each other any time during or after the nikah was done.

First divorce than nikah. If you do the nikah before her divorce you will never be able to get married to her forever. So please do not make such mistake.

So how can get her divorce done or can she just take Qula from her side ? And then can we get our nikah done?

Khula is the demand of a wife to buy her divorce from the husband, that is, she pays some money and the husband divorces her. So at the end of the days, husband or his representing religious authority can perform it after examining the conditions.

My wife is going abroad for her studies and we may not be able to meet each other earlier than six months or maybe a year. In that condition any islamic instructions are to be followed?

It is obligatory on the husband to avoid the abstinence from having sex for more than 4 months unless if there is a mutual agreement between them. Then they follow their agreement.

How many daughters the Prophet have? I thought it was one but several Shia’s on “www.shiachat.com” say that there were 3

Ws the authentic strong narrations indicates fatima Zahraa AS being the only daughter. And when ever the good caliph wanted to return fadak they did only to the descended of lady

I want to know if Fatima a.s was the only daughter of the Prophet or there were other female daughters?

It seems that there were other three daughters.

Is possible to pray salat ul fajr earlier about 5 min before azan? Due to journey and reporting to work early. If not I will definetinely miss salat ul fajr. Please advise.

No you cannot pray before time. You have to pray after it. If you are going to miss it because of your journey then you have to pray it in your journey even if you have to do it by standing or walking or riding. Salaat should not be missed

1. Can ghusl e jnabat be done cautiously with wajib niyat if someone is unable to know/understand that what is the correct obligation?

2. And at the same time, if someone could not understand the state of janabat and did not perform ghusl, how ever in actual the person was mujnib, now what would be the obligation in this case?

3. And what would be the status of the namaz offered before ghusl?

1. If someone wants to do Ghusl as a precautionary measure on doubtful janaba then wodhu must be added.
2. If a person does not know that he or she has janaba then Ghusl is not wajib.

3. The past Salaat must be repeated as much as possible

Mujhe ek relative ne bataya ki mere betay ko us kaafir ladki ke chakkar se mowakkilon ke zariyae alag karne ko. Maine istikhara dekhaya toh achcha aaya.
Par kya en good helping jinnat (mowakkilon) se kaam karvana jayaz hai ya haraam. Pls advise

One must rely on Almighty swt and recite Sura Falaq and Naas as much as possible.

1) Is it permission to work for a returant that serves non halal food but doesn’t server pork or haraam drinks

2) What if you are in doubt about the food halal or haraam

3) What if you end up serving pork bacon or drinks, can you remove that money from your income estimated amount and give away in charity

Wine and pork are red line.
However, if a person has to work these places then a person can take the wages with the intention of removing the hand custody or guard from the item, thus allowing the buyer to take it

I wanted to know if I am starting my roza as per Dubai time and if I'm flying to a place for example Europe where the sunset is 8 to 10 hours after Dubai time of sunset, should I follow the Dubai time to open my fast or wait for sunset which will extend my fast by 8 to 10 hours. If I follow the Dubai time to break my fast it will not be sunset yet outside the aircraft.

You will fast based on the sunset in the arrival city.
If you feel the fast will be difficult then in the traveling day before zohr go out of dubai 22 km eat something and comeback. So u have broken your fast legally.

Agar khums ki tareekh abhi nahi aayi hai, tab to wo paise paak hain to unse khareed sakte hain ya phir bhi khums nikal ke khareeden ?

As long as the date is not encountered you don’t have to pay the Khums and the money is clean

Agar hum kaam ke silsilay mai office ke saath Makkah jaen for (official work and with a tight schedule) to kia hum pe Umrah wajib hojata hai? I heard ke Makkah ke hudood mai dakhil ho jaen to Umrah wajib hojata hai

Yes every month requires one umrah so one umrah is valid for one month.

What if my official visit is only for a 4-5 days with a tight schedule. Is it wajib to perform Umrah?

Yes umrah takes 2 hours only.

Is Najasat on clothes removed when washed in a washer with detergent mixed with other clothes?

If after that mixed water is out and then pure and clean water goes in then yes the clothes become pure, as long as there was no cloth with the najasat of urine, otherwise another second clean water will be required to enter the washer.

My family has been having a lot of problems for the last decade. We belong to a family where people don't pay much attention to superstitions and black magic kind of stuff. However when our circumstances kept getting worse, we were told by many people that our family is under black magic spell. Many times we have found maash ki daal (black gram) and eggs at our doorstep. Today my mothers clothes were sprayed with blood. Kindly help me as what can i do about it and how can we get rid of it?

Two things cause serious misfortune:
Sins which many neglect and hang it on the black magic. The family needs to review the Salaat being prayed on time, if people are hurt then apologies must be executed, and after clearing the issues between Allah swt and the servant no black magic works. People become under total protection of Almighty swt whose power is far greater than the satanic powers and the black magic. This is based on the quranic directions and the teachings of Ahlul Bayt AS.

I wanted to ask about getting to know someone before getting marriage. I have been to speaking to someone and i want to know what the limits of hijab are when it comes to conversations such as these? What can be considered haraam, makruh, mubah etc?

Every thing haraam with non mahram woman is haraam with her, the removal of the hijaab and looking at her with tight cloth is once permissible only not on a regular basis. Yes it is permissible that they both share some private sensitive information with each other but should never ever share it with other. Trust is a very serious matter.

Talking should not be associated with any lust.

A believing women marries an infidel and leaves the faith and then after some time reconverts to believer, in this situation :

what is the shariah ruling about this kind of situation ?

Her marriage is invalid.
Her touba is valid but acceptance is upon Allah.
She needs to make up the fast and Salaat she missed in the past.

Is she taahir ?
Are her wet hands considered tahir ?

After Tauba yes obviously she is.

1. Is it ok to recite salaat in heavy bridal makeup?

2. Is the sajdah valid in the above condition especially regarding the forehead connection with the sajdagah due to heavy makeup?

If the make up does not prevent water of wudhu from reaching the skin yes then it is ok

If it is not considered bare skin touching the earth then it is not sufficient

Please elaborate on the Rules/steps that need to be followed for a couple who are on mutah engagement and want to make changes:

1. how can a condition that was part of the mutah be changed/added/removed?

2. how can the remaining period can be forgiven?

1. A condition can be compromised if both parties agree to do so. And if the contract was done with the permission of the father of the girl then he must also compromise.
2. Just by saying I have forgiven you the remaining period and breaking up the Mutah contract.

Would it be correct if the husband says that from this future date and time i forgive the remaining period?

After the contract the husband can mention that he will end on so and so date, however, when that date arrives, he must confirm it on the precautionary basis.

I was wondering if Al Kassem bin Al Hassan (as) had other names like his father (Mujtaba) and grandfather (Murtadha)

I do not recall any.

I work in a supermarket. My job is to fill products in the empty shelves. I already told them that I don’t fill anything with meat, chicken or alcohol in it and they understand that. What I wanted to ask is:
Q1: Can I fill products that contain extracts from meat or chicken. (For example a chicken noodle soup)
Q2: Can I fill baby food that contains meat or chicken? If yes can it contain pork?
Q3: Can I fill pet food that contains meat or chicken? If yes can it contain pork?
There is also something I need to do after I finish filling. I need to put the first two products in shelves where something is bought to the front.
Q4: Can I put products that contain meat, chicken, pork or alcohol on the front of the shelve to make them showy for customers.
In the questions that contain meat or chicken you can suppose that it’s unknown how it is slaughtered but you suspect that it is not halal because it’s slaughtered in an atheist-majority country.

Avoid any thing that has pork and alcohol, all the other things you mentioned are ok

I have a question when it comes to the shi’i belief of seeking intercession by the dead.

I have looked into the arguments and I fail to be able to rationalize invoking anyone other than Allah.

Firstly, there is no CLEAR authentic report where the Prophet or Imams taught us to make dua the likes of dua tawasul.

Do the shia believe that the Imams can hear us? What is the (authentic) proof for this?

Also in the sermon Imam Ali gives about the best ways of tawasul, invoking the Ahlulbayt is not mentioned at all.

That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.

There are more any many. But this is just a small token of abundant evidences that no intellectual islamic scholar could deny it.

Mujhe yeh pochna hai k bachon k pehli dafa jo baal katwate hein unko kahein dafan kerna hota hai? Ya apne paas bhe rkh skte hein? Is baray mein kia hukum hai? Kia usko kahein makhsoos jagah dafnane se bachon pe koi farq parta hai? Aur jo naaf jharti hai, us k baray mein bhe kia hukum hai?

You can bury them where ever you wish to bury. You cannot keep it with you if it becomes deteriorated.

I currently take medicines for anxiety and depression. I was in a bad phase. Medicines helped me a lot. But Now my problem is spiritual. I have lost hope of everything. I don't believe the best will happen. My heart is filled with despair. I used to have a bit of baseera, but now that's gone too. I definitely don't doubt God, but since I've been unwell for so long, I don't believe things will get better. Now the main problem why I think all this is spiritual is because my head is filled with whispering of the Shaitan. I have a constant battle going on in my head where I'm debating to myself if what I'm doing is right or wrong. Dimagh main khayaalaat ki jangg horahi hai. I'm super conscious of everything. Main decide nahin karpaaraha k logoon se baat kese karni hai. Shaitan wolf ka bhaiss pehen k zehn main ulti baat karta hai, aur main jhaggra karraha hota hoon zehen main hee.
I read a dua by Imam Naqi (AS) for the whispering of the Shaitan, aur kaafi dinn mera dimagh bohot clear raha, aur naa hee koi zehen main negative khiyaalat aaye. Bilkul positive tha main. Lekin ye problem ab phir shuru hogaya hai. Ye masla hai. Namazain waghaira sab parrhta hoon main, Qur'an sunnta hoon, wo koi masla nahin.Koi amaal batayein jiss se theek hojaye ye aur mera dimagh relax hojaaye

Many youth go throug such problems you r not alone and many of them have overcome such so do not give up hope. They used to recite Sura Naas day and night as much as possible so I will strongly recommend you to do the same. It will be over InshAllah.

Is volumizing my hijab haram? I have read many people stating the hadith that women are cursed if they wear their hijab like camel humps. and that they will not be allowed to enter paradise, their prayers are not accepted even if worn at home. How far is this true?

As long as it is hijab that covers the required parts to be covered then problem it it seems humpy

Many wea big pins to volumize their hijaabs and it sometimes appears bigger than their head. It's not their own hair only. Is that alright?

As long as the hair are covered and such hump is not causing lustful attractions to the men, and if it was not an odd condition, that is many women in the community does such. Then it is alright.

I am not very good with arabic. Please if possible, can you provide me the above link you sent me in english

The curse of human and their right to do so is indicated clearly in the above verses mentioned.
The links I sent I am not aware of english links similar to it, however it indicates that there are several narrations narrated Ziarat ashooraa if one is satisfied by its multiple narrations then it indicates it’s strength in the authenticity. Moreover there is nothing in the Ziarat which is contradicting with the quran. And even the curses are precisely in the line of the quran.
The only matter which is a bit sensitive is the cursing of the four in the last part of the Ziarat that many can misunderstand. Many avoid reciting such to avoid any misunderstanding and sensitivity.

Is there any prohibition for reciting particular quranic aayats or reciting salawat in the bathroom

Quran can be recited any where. Unless verses on obligatory prostration which are not be read in the state of janabah perhaps such can be avoided in the bathroom as a precaution .

Is interest earned from saving accounts allowed? Is it permissible?
For example I have 15000 in my account and bank will give me profit annually at 4%.
Can I take the interest profit the bank gives me?

I am in Pakistan so all the banks are owned by muslims. What is Sayed sistani and other major marjae ruling on this?

If the deposit is kept without making any conditions upon the bank that they have to give you the interest, then:
If the bank was from the private sector then the whole interest is permissible,
If the bank was entirely government or semi-government, then one can take half of the interest and the other half gives it to the poor as a charity on behalf of the unknown owner.

What is the best method to dispose of papers that have Quran verses or Allah’s name on it. Is burning them okay?

Either by immersing it in the sea or river, or shredding them in a way that all the letters become in a way that the holy words are not readable, burning the holy names is not ok.

I live in the west. I try to control myself but every 20 seconds, lustful thoughts come to me and I cannot control it. I’m not married and I’m in college, what can I do?

Practically:
When ever these thoughts pop in recite sura naas or 7times
اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم.
The thoughts will go away. I have tried it and many youth have tried it. It works. It is a promise of Allah swt in the quran that if you recite it then Allah swt will protect you from the Shaytan.
Then if you can fast, do it. It will reduce the lust.
And God forbid if you slip again in the same lustful act after trying not to do so , then ask Almighty swt for forgiveness and tell Him you tried. He hears you and if you were trying your best then don’t worry He will forgive you.

There is a saying that we Shia have in our Iqamah and Adhan like "Ash hadu anna Aliyyan waliAllah" and similar sayings. What is the ruling on saying these and where did it come from? Also, what is the proper thing to say?

Sunnis added in Adhan Salaat khayrun minaanoum
Shias added the third testimony.
That is an indication that Muslims can add an important message is adhan as long as they do not consider it an obligatory part of adhan. And our maraje do not consider it as a part of adhan.

I am seeking to get married. My family spoke with another family and I spoke with their daughter. They seemed like a good family and we all liked each other.

I felt I was for the most part compatible with the girl, but I still was not sure so I did a 2 rakat prayer for Allah to help with my decision. I was still confused and prayed another 2 rakat prayer a couple of days later. In the end we did istikhara of Quran from a Sheikh and he said the istikhara was not good and that it would cause a lot of problems.

I heard of some people who do istikhara multiple times. Does it make sense to do this? What would you advise in my situation?

The istikhra is seeking advice from Allah swt.
Going against is not forbidden however unpleasant consequences happen as many has experienced.
But if there is a sense that circumstances have changed or something has changed in the matter then one can retake the istikhra

Being an unmarried girl, while watching any inappropriate sexual photo/ video , I have a discharge, I dont know what it is; urine or vaginal discharge. Is ghusl e janabat wajib after it? Sometimes there is no discharge, but feeling of urine starts; again I dont know whether it is sex need feeling/urge or simply the need to urinate. Would ghusl be compulsory in this case?

First of all avoid such forbidden acts, these things brings difficulties and hardship in this life for believers, and sever embarrassing position in front of our beloved Allah swt, He swt give us all the pleasures yet we disobey Him and not be embarrassed from Him while He is watching us.

Any vaginal discharge that is associated with the orgasm in the female is a cause for the obligation of the Ghusl, however, there are other types of vaginal sticky fluid are discharged without orgasm on sexual excitement, but do not obligate the Ghusl,

Whenever there is no orgasm then the doubtful vaginal sticky fluid is considered pure and does not require any obligated action, unless if it was certainly urine.

Our relative an elderly lady wears (removed) dupatta she is widow and has a mental and physical handicap (removed) in (removed) is it ok to give to an agent (another family member) who gives her the money in installments. That is if I give 500$ in khums the agent gives her 100$ each month . Is this allowed or is agent supposed to give lumpsome?

First to give Khums from the portion of sayed if she was needy sayed then it’s ok, otherwise the portion of imam af requires the permission from the marje.
As far as the agency fee, if there is a source who could donate the agency fee which is quite a lot then one should avoid giving such huge amount of the agency fee, small amounts of agency fee are allowed such as 20-30$ on such amounts.
Allah swt knows best.

I usually take out khums on our household foods such as cans, fridge and freezer items and clothing on May 24. However my husband takes khums out on the money for n his savings and checking account on islamic date of 17 Rabi Thani . Now I want to change our home goods khums to this Islamic date. Since it has been 7 months since I last took khums out on our items at home now how how should I assess which items need to have khums taken on them? That is, if there are canned foods in pantry from after May 24 that have not been used until today but I intend to use them sometime before next Rabi Thani do I take khums on that or only on those items that I am sure I won’t be using before next 17 Rabi Thani ?

The unused newly purchased items between the old date and the new date should be khumsed, the same is about any unused savings in between these two dates.

I have traveled to a destination and used the compass on my cell phone and it tells me direction of qibla and I prayed fajr and maghribain according to it. However when i came to the second floor of the same house the compass pointed in the opposite direction for the qibla. Should I re do Fajr and maghribain?

Before you redo your Salaat check which one was the right direction first floor or second floor. Redo the one which was in total opposite

Sura falaq
Say salwaat 5 times and sleep.
Sadqa. InshAllah no more disturbing dreams. These are dreams of shaytaans no reality . So do what I said.

Could you please recommend both English and Urdu books on the history and calamities of Bibi Fatima s.a?

If you find books of s Jafer Murtaza Aimili on Fatima Zahra (as) translated in english then those are the best analytical books.

Is it permissable to eat meat that has been stunned before slaughtered?

If the animal is not dead after being stunned and the death of the animal was due to the cutting of the throat and not stunning it self.

Can one attend a wedding on the 12th Jamadi-ul-Awwal? If not then how can one explain to them, that it is the martyrdom of Lady Fatima Zahra (as) on the 13th Jamadi-ul-Awwal.

It depends on what date you observe the shahadat of the lady of light. If this date you observe as her wafat then you should not attend and they need to respect your religious sensitivities.

There is a app available now called "instacart" where you can work as someone who buys people groceries. Now there are many things in the store which are not halal for a muslim to eat but is delivering it an issue? my main concern would be pork. Is this job halal for a muslim and which things should he watch out for?

Delivering pork and alcohol will be haram. Otherwise it’s ok

My daughter is obsessed with doubts, specifically in relation in Najasat (cleanliness). She doubts every act of bodily purification to ensure that it is the proper and clean act before carrying out the wajibaat. For example, the use of water in cleaning self, etc. How do I convince her that at the end of the day it is her intentions and that she gave her best to ensure that she is clean to the best of her efforts and knowledge and the rest should be left with Allah SWT.

Let her do two things
1 Let her recite abundantly the last sura in the quran NAAS. Many like her case got cured.

2 Her religiously duty is to ignore the doubts unless if she is certain and for sure that the duty was not performed correctly. She does not have to observe the rules of doubt at all.

I get angry with her a lot be it on little issues or big issues.
I need dua's to calm my anger. I cannot control it and I hate it and regret it.

Recite sura falak and naas repeatedly and
سلام قولا من رب رحيم

What's the ruling of this mistake if we recite Surah Al Ikhlas in first Raka'at ?

No problem you can recite it in any of the first two rakaats. Or recite any another suras.

I wanted to know the opinion of these three Ayatollahs(Ayatollah Khamenei, Ayatollah Sistani, Ayatollah Fadlallah) on if a woman is allowed to go to war and fight the enemies of Islam since the first martyr in Islamic history was a woman that fought to protect the prophet Mohammad saws. And can you answer in arabic please so I can show my mother the answer?

ليس القتال واجب على النساء, اول شهيدة استشهدت لم يكن في حرب.

I made a mistake it was not the first martyr, but a woman named Nusaybah bint Ka’ab that fought according to some references (they may be ahadeeth from ahlulsunnah correct me in that case) in the battle of Uhud. My question was not if it was wajib but is it allowed? So can she if she wants it go to war to fight?

It is not not wajib but if they want and Masoom allows them then there is no problem

My wife is 33 years old and had not been to Madrasa at her native place. We came to know that She had been doing wuzu wrongly till now.
Unknowingly, after washing her face, She had been washing left hand first than right hand..

What is the ruling regarding her wajibaat she performed till date? Are her Namaz and other wajibat void?

I don't know why I have this certain doubts about Allah.
Even though I know that I shouldn't have this doubts as a shia or as a muslim. It is really I thought for me or is it only from shetan what should I do when I have this doubts. How to prevent my self from falling into doubting allah swt.
I know there is no god except Allah. I have all dalil ( proof) scientific , philosophic etc but my heart is not accepting Allah existence.
I’m so confused. I don't fill the test ( khushu khuzu ) of my salat. When I try to pray it feel that No one listening to me. It like I’m speaking alone.
So can you please help me?

Recite sura naas when ever u have doubts the doubts will fade away. If by reciting once does not help recite once more. It works with me and many have tried, the doubts of Shaytan fade away.

Food be carful of what you eat. Eat as much as halal food you can.

Avoid doubtful food and recite this Dua in your Salaat at least once
Daily in your qunoot

I got asked recently for advice from someone who feels attracted to both genders – they want to stop and control themselves. What would be good advice to give them?

This person must focus his or her desires to the opposite gender only , fight his urges for same gender. It is a test of Allah swt , Allah swt can change him or her to a normal person because He swt creates him or her.
One of the best effecting method is that when ever the feeling for same gender attraction exists then he or she must recite sura naas Abundantly because the wrong feelings are always associated with the whispers of the Shaytan

I wanted to ask that if I go to Imam Hussain's shrine and fall in sujood is it wrong? why do sunnis call it shirk?

If you do sujood to Allah swt thanking Him for such great blessing.
If bow down to kiss the holy ground only and thank Allah swt then it is ok even recommended in some text. Because bowing down in sujood has to be for Allah swt only.

I have 2 options for paying khums sehme imam
a)Pay to Marja office & get a receipt
b)Pay to an organisation or for a worthy cause known to me,which has the permission from my marja to collect khums Sehme Imam

Similarly I have 2 options for Sehme sadat
a)Pay to Marja office
b) Pay to sadat person(not a relative) directly based on my own investigation of eligibility

In the second option there is a small risk that the full amount may not get spent correctly in sehme imam and for sehme sadat my investigation of the eligibility may not be accurate.
In the second option the recipient also becomes grateful to me for my 'donation' though it is khums money & not my charity

However in first option I have the effort of finding good eligible causes & benefit of observing the end use /benefit to the cause /person.

What should be my choice & is there ANY reason /greater sawab to choose option b ?

The sehme Sadat can be given to a worthy sayed.
However sehme imam as has so many restrictions one should give to the marje directly or through his official office and get the receipt. S sistani dz says u must collect the receipt from his office.

I would like to know if ever in his life time did Imam Hussain as wished to visit Hind(now India). As believed by many Shia/Brahmi Hindu Shia’s in India.

It is mentioned in some historical records that when Imam was not allowed to go back to Madina or go into Kufa, and they had decided to kill him, he gave them to go to a third place other than these two places or any place in the government of yazid.

When was Imam Ali(as) Shahadat started being Given in Azan?

Obviously it was not in the time of the prophet. It was in a time when Shias had a government. That is why it is not part of the azaan however it is recommended based on general narrations that indicate the recommendation to add it with the two shahadat.

I am a student and not working. is it necessary for me to give khums? If i invested money somewhere and i get monthly money from that, is it necessary for me to give khums in this condition as well? if in both conditions Yes than what is the method ?

Indeed if you have an income regardless of its method or source in general you have to pay the Khums on the annual savings.
So at the end of every year you will pay 20% of what ever you have saved. The money which is khumsed will not be khumsed again next year if it stays till then.

I want to know what these are and their significance.

1. Imam zamin
2. Kunday / nayaz

Imam zamin is a charity give to the poor and the rewarded is intended to be gifted to our beloved Imam. As for kunday listen to this https://youtu.be/WWPe9Ji1Lmk

I am now 21 years old and I have never paid khums before due to lack of knowledge. What do I do in this situation?

Start paying Khums. And if you had any thing or any money in the past that you had not used it it or not consumed in the year of possession they such things must be Khumsed.

My friend had a question " As Allah created Man and woman then why it feels like woman or man soul is trapped in a wrong body? Its like by physically, a man looks like a man but by soul he doesn't feel like a man at all infact he more feel like a woman. He wants to dress or live like a woman. Want to marry a man instead of woman. Similarly he sexually do not feel towards opposite gender. Is this some biological fault? Or psychological? What he should do to actual feel like a man

According to the scientific material that I have read, soul has nothing to do with such, the soul is the power of intellect and our base of self. Even some described it as genderless, however soul is studied under philosophy.
Gender is studied under psychology, sex is studied under biology. And combination of sex and gender is studied in psychology and physiology.

So odd gender sensations that means sex does not correspond the gender are fixed by psychology because these are psychological problems. And problems in Islam are tests in Islam to see whether a human solves it rightly or disobeys Allah swt in it. So by exhorting efforts and proper psychological treatment and Duas every thing can be fixed. Many of those I know have such problems and now they are straight.

One thing still hit my mind how a child psychologically be affected by all this. I don't remember since when and how I have been involved in this odd gender feelings. When I see my friends they really feel like a man but since child I remember I used to like a toys related to girls, fascinated by girls accessories and when I grown up, never feel sexually attracted towards woman and have no control over such feelings which ultimately led me towards practicing sins. Should I consult any psychiatrist? And please suggest me any dua. I want to live a normal life. And I have also heard that if a person have some sort of harmons imbalances then it may also happend like if a male body contains more female harmons eg estrogen, then might be because of that he can be attracted towards male. Isn't it comes under biology? I have seen such cases where person change his/her gender. In that case, does Islam allow to change sex?

You are not alone in this world with such problem and such test of Allah swt from USA to Australia I have seen various of our beloved youth going through such.
Trust me Allah swt loves you, He swt tests His beloved ones such test.
Some of the youth they became normal by psychological treatments some by hormonal, but hormones increases in most cases your sexual desires or to have more sex very seldom it affects the gender change because it affects the physiology of the sex.

I remember quite of them got married but when they have sex with their wife they picture someone having sex with them rather, and their wives think they are normal. So as long as a person is faithful to his wife and fulfill her rights including the sexual rights then the fantasy world is his. He does not need to share his fantasies with his wife. And try to change his thoughts as much as possible. Because many youth they became straight after marriage.

Is it allowed to have relations with your husband naked or do you have to have some clothing on. Is it haram or makruh to be totally naked.

It is ok. Only recommended to keep a piece of cloth on. But not obligatory

My question is regarding the extent of right of a husband over his wife.
Firstly does a husband have the right to forbid his wife from visiting her parents (and relatives) possibly due to ego issues ( between him and his in-laws).
Moreover, some people believe husbands to be controllers of their wife in every aspect of her life and quote various Hadeeth from the 14 infallibles. To what extent is this correct in the religion of Islam.

Islam is a religion that establishes a system of authority and responsibility in every space.
As in the workplace one cannot go out of the workplace without the permission of the authority. Similarly in the family Islam made the husband an authority. So by default if a wife wants to go out then she needs to respect his authority, some maraje limit this authority in situations where there is a conflict in the bed rights of the husband.
However if the husbands will bully his wife and abuse his authority over her and give her pain then he will end up in the hell fire.
It is always good to have mutual respect and bilateral understanding between both.

Can you please elaborate on to what extent and in which context of life does a wife need her husband's permission in doing things for example if she wishes to visit her parents or relatives does her husband have the right to stop her for any reason?
I believe that a Husband has been made authority and head of the house but Allah must have also placed a limit to this Authority. Is this authority only limited to leaving the house or in other aspects of life and if so what are they.

Two authorities are indicated in the narrations of Ahlulbayt
-The bed
-Not leaving the house without permission regardless of the destination.
However the authority is overridden if there was a necessity and harmful situation or obligation towards Allah swt and so on.

I wanna know, if it is permissible for my wife to swallow my semen, when we have sex.

Swallowing the semen is forbidden in Islam it is najis or impure as wine and blood.
However other than semen and urine that is discharged from the genitals such as the white transparent sticky substance if mixed with the saliva and consumed in it then it can be swallowed because it is not najis however undesirable stuff.

I am a student of unity college lucknow, India. In my school most of the students are involved in the sinful act of masturbation. All of them are Shia too. They seek my help asking how to get rid of this immoral habit. Please suggest some measures by which they could solve this problem.

Tell them

-Limit looking at the women especially lustful looks because such piles up the hormones and semen is produced in larger quantities
- Avoid eating things that produce sex hormones
- Excersise to burn those fats which produce such hormones

Religious factors
-When done istighfaar needs to be done immediately when ever done
-Fast as much as possible for it kills those hormones
-Recite sura of naas when ever the urge to do masterbation rises. More than that even if such is not there recite frequently as much as possible it stops the satanic thoughts immediately

After years of reluctance since a few months back I have ardently started to practice namaz and other amaals. Still some questions keep popping up in my head that render me into the state of confusion. My question to you is on one hand we have in Quran the event of how adam and hawaa were expelled from heaven on eating the forbidden apple and then on the other hand we have science which states theory of evolution in a very logical manner and supports the same with proof of fossils found millions And billions of years ago. Also in our body we have vestigial organs like nictitating membrane in eyes which was used by us when we we're living in water or appendix which was used to digest plants And leaves when we ate them which are a proof of scientific theory of evolution.

The story of Adam and Eve is not presented by many the way it is presented in the Quran.

Furthermore, Islam does not reject evolution there are indications in the quran for the evolution, we reject theories not supported with concrete evidence, I am a zoologist scientist and a religious professional .
There are gaps the scientist need to fill then only we will accept evolution. And there is no conflict in two courses one the natural course of evolution if proven by strong evidences and that could be one of the courses of Allah swt and other course he made a human out of clay miraculously to guide the evolved human.

I have received a gift of Green Sapphire ring, wanted to check what are the benefits to wear this stone

sistani dz says nothing about zabarjod so if the stone you mentioned is one of these stones http://www.sheikh-alsalami.org.au/essential_grid/islamic-benefits-of-rings-and-stones/
Then u might get the answer.

I have received a gift of Green Sapphire ring, wanted to check what are the benefits to wear this stone.

It is recommended wear Aqeeq, Feroza and Durre Najaf.

unfortunately I have a father and brothers who don't like to be told that some things have to be done a certain way, or a certain jurisprudence has to be enforced.

examples can be jurisprudence about prayers and things such as jurisprudence regarding eating on the same table where alcohol is served. Everytime I try to remind something, there is an argument and that I play God's role…

I know we choose our friends but not our family and that may explain why I enjoy much more being around friends who remind me about God and with whom I can exchange about religion, than family where there is just discussion about this dunia…

should I carry on giving advice or talking about jurisprudence in this case or shall I avoid to avoid arguing with them. u remember reading a section regarding this in the minhaj of GA Seyyed Sistani… but would like a more detailed advice…

Keep on continuing with peace love and wisdom in a way u pass your message without any tension being created between you and your beloved family members. There are conditions of obligatory for it in Minhaaj so when those conditions do not exist it becomes recommend or other level. So as Allah swt mentions to us with wisdom and good method of admonition.
Best of luck keep it up as long as the conditions of forbidden does not befall.

Can botulinum toxin (botox) injections be used on face to reduce wrinkles and fine lines?

Ayatollah Sistani dz allows any type of medication for beautification as long as
1. These are not severely harmful
2. They are not going to lead a person to any of the immoral acts or forbidden acts.

My friend had a question which is  "Did that soul realm and the contracts we made, exist before the creation of Adam and Eve or did it come after… Because if our souls existed in that realm before the creation of Adam and Eve, then it doesn’t really make sense because God thought of the idea of humans as a new creation… But we already existed? So were we wandering souls, or did we experience something like heaven before being placed in these bodies Or did we exist in another body until God thought of humans “why are we superior to Jinn, why did God make the angels and iblees (the one jinn which revered God like an angel) bow to Adam” If Jinn have supernatural powers and can out live Humans, what makes superior to them?” in the Quran we have a title Ashrafa Makhlokaat why do we have this title if they"re more intelligent than us and have developed further in technology"

I have given lectures on your questions

Asak. I want to make my son eat khaq e shifa till aashura so that it heals him from insanity. How should I make him eat? Is it necessary to recite the big dua while making him eat it?

Our maraje allow such in a very minimal quantity like less than a pinch of salt even. And it should be done under health codes and laws. You don’t need to recite the Dua in front of him. Besides there is no specific Dua narrated by any authentic narrator.

My son fell in so called love with a hindu girl in his class. I asked him but he always lied to me that he is not having any relationship. While leaving for hostel I found love letters and cards from his bag and I told him that this is haraam relationship and will not be accepted by us at all. I secretly removed the letter and cards from my son. When he came to know about it since then he is not talking to me and doesn't want to keep any relation with me. He is a typical boy who doesn't want to follow any religion and he also doesn't like us (his parents) for we ask him to offer namaaz and religion. I am very troubled how to get him on the right path. I am too worried as since last month he hasn't talk to me .

Leave him in the hand of Allah swt and ask Him to guide him and bring him to you.
That has worked with many mothers, for Allah swt can what we cannot not.
Do not push on him any thing just keep good respect and kindness. If he has chosen something else we cannot do much.
Pray pray and pray until u get him back from Allah swt do not give up.

I wear an insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitoring sensor on my body. The pump needs to be changed every 3 days and the sensor every 6 -7 days. Can I keep both on during the wajib ghusl or do I need t take them off? It is quite cumbersome to replace the sensor because I have to recharge it, then insert it and then calibrate it which is something i have to do every 6-7 days but if I need to take it off before that then I will have to do these steps and throw away the sensor and put on new one. The Medical supply company sends me exact amount based in 90 days supply so if i change the sensor before the 6-7 day time range, I will run out of it before the 90 days.
However, the insulin pump which gets replaced every 3 days can be changed more easily.
Please advise me what to do for wajib ghusl.

Yes u need to remove it for the Ghusl and wodhu when ever u are able to without any difficulty and hardship.
However when ever it becomes cumbersome and causes hardship then you can perform tayamum instead of Ghusl and instead of wodhu.

How does one help someone that has stopped praying salat, only work focused?

W salm it is very important to inform that person about Allah swt and His existence, love and how to establish a connection with Him. Then the emphasis of Salaat and its philosophy is embedded in that persons heart.

I have a question regarding the limits of obedience to parents. my friend's father has been emotionally torturing her and physically and emotionally torturing her mother for 32 years and i have been witness to the emotional trauma their whole family went through due to the father. now she has had enough and she stood upto her father. her father has stopped talking to her for the mere reason that she wanted to study further and this time she has made little efforts to apologize. someone told her that all her prayers will not be accepted by Allah SWT as her father is angry with her. she is otherwise a good and religious person but since she heard that her prayers are not being accepted, she does not pray that much as she believes her prayers won't be accepted. but after a lifetime of mental torture she is not ready to speak to her father again. my question is what are the limits to fathers' obedience? we must never be rude to them but they have a right to ruin their children's lives? is it true that even if a father who is unjust and forcing children to do his bidding just out of spite, if he is angry the prayers of children are not accepted?

There is no obedience for a creature in the disobedience of the creator.
Other than that the obligation is to be kind is to be kind to the parents regardless of the reasons.

While doing masa should one do it from the middle of the head or he can perform it from side also?

W salm Massa in done in the middle frontal quarter of the head if the head is divided into four pie sections. Thus it should cover the frontal quarter of the pie.

I have a question regarding behavior towards our parents. I realize kind behavior towards one’s parents is obligatory. However, what should one do if one has a father who abuses his/her mother verbally and verges on physical abuse? Ofcourse, neither party is infallible, but the husband keeps criticizing his wife for every minute thing. Like criticizing her while eating and the food she cooks, using foul language, demeaning her all day. If the children try to intervene, the husband gets angry and says he can do whatever he wishes with his wife. What is the responsibility of their children in this case?

The children can defend their mother without being rude to their father.
They need to continuously remind the father about the good days. And then observe patience, however if it comes to physical harm the kids need to call the authorities and seek protection for their mother.

If a married man had relation with married woman who hasnt been physical with her husband for almost 5years . After divorce can the person marry her? A sin was committed and both are very repenting to that but in the heat of time it just happened but now they want to be toghether legally. Any advice on this please !

S sistani dz says
If someone commits unlawful intercourse with a married woman then it is not permissible for him to get married to her after her divorce from the first husband based on a precautionary measure, that means if some one next in level to the level of knowledge of s sistani dz permits such marriage then they can refer to him in this issue, and if no one permits such then they both should be separated immediately through a precautionary divorce.

I have noticed a sort of reoccuring theme in the Quran regarding Allah SWT referring to things being in pairs. I was wondering if you could explain to me the significance of this?

Holy Quran 51:49
------------------
وَمِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.

So this verse indicates literally that source of every thing are pairs or from every thing a pair is produced , or every thing is in pairs.
From the atomic level we see the protons and electrons. To the galaxies which has ions If positive and negative charges.
Even in our morality there are positive attitudes and negative attitudes and so one, there is a lot one can ponder...
There are things in pair we have not yet discovered up till now
Holy Quran 36:36
------------------

Exalted is He who created all pairs - from what the earth grows and from themselves and from that which they do not know.

Is Ruqya a Shia practice? And do we believe that Jinns can possess the bodies of human beings? Or are those who claim to do this con-artists?

Ws it is an ancient religious practice that was used by idol worshipers and others.
After Islam the people replaced the idols by Allah and His attributes and the verses of the holy quran in the Zikr of Ruqyha. The masoomin aa did not condemn such practice on the contrary according to some narrations they taught the people how to do such properly.

I am a undergraduate student who has just finished his first year And I am considering a career as an Islamic researcher/speaker/teacher. Is there any advice you can give me ?

No you cannot pray on his behalf , if he is aware he can pray by pointing with finger ISHARA , if he cannot pray with his finger , then one should count his qadhaa and offer it after him.

I have a friend who his parents aren’t ahlul kittab someone told him he cannot eat food from them because its not halal . Even tho the mother cooks only halal for him and he is scared of najasi. Whats sistanis point of view on this

If one is not certain about the food being touched with wet hands of such person then one can eat such persons food. The only situation is when one has the knowledge and the certainty of such food touched with wetness.

if due to menstruation one was unable to fast last ramadhan and did not make up these qadha missed fasts before this ramadhan, does she have to give kaffara for it?

if a person who misses the fasts in such case, she must make it before the next month of ramadhan, so if she dues not make it up then there is Fiidya 3/4 kg food given the poor

So is this same as what we call kaffara because sometimes people say this is called kaffara but u are saying tis called fidya right?

literally kaffara means penalty and fidya means a substitute or replacement or an alternative option. In kaffara there is sense of sin unlike fidya.
Yes both are If in the form of food then it must be given to the poor not the money. Yes money can be given to an organization who will hand over food to the poor

My daughter was at end of her menstrual period so with the intention to fast she ate her suhoor and then did her ghusl haydh with nail polish still on her toes right before fajr adhan. She only removed polish from her small toe thinking that was all she had to remove but left polish on all the rest of her toes.I told her that she needs to remove it all. She did and it was now time of Fajr adhaan as she went back and did her ghusl haydh again. Once she came out of the ghusl can she continue fasting?

she needs to make up that day qadhaa.

My question is if we are invited to say a graduation party held outdoors where almost all guests are muslim Pakistani but most don’t wear hijab should we as a family attend? I’m afraid the more we attend the more these families will invite us and then our children and my husband will get influenced by them.

If one has a fear that by doing something or going somewhere might become a cause of deviation of him or her or one of the family members who are under him or her, then it is forbidden to do such things or go in such places in order to secure the religion of ones self or one of his or her family members.

I have a problem regarding Ramadan and fasting. Actually I suffer from irregular menstrual cycles. Today, During fasting, I saw some little dark blood, and I cannot determine if it’s haidh or istihaza, because of the irregularity of blood appearing. As in, sometimes I would see blood, but on the same day after few hours I would not see anymore blood.
In this case what should I do? should I consider this as, Haidh or istihaza?

generally speaking a blood is only considered Haidh if it flows for three days without any big interruptions in the flow.
If there were big time interruptions then it will be considered istihaadha.
Besides that irregular menses starts with the flow of blood that has characteristics of Haidh blood. And flows for a minimum of three days continuously.

what is the time frame if a husbands refuses to have sex with his wife that she can get a divorce based on husbands refusal of sex. in her case it has been approximately 6 years with no sexual relations.

In normal cases the husband should not avoid having sex with his wife more than 4 months. And if wife was afraid If waiting that period would cause her to be seriously disturbed and be in a critical condition then the husband must fulfill her desire and lust as needed.
If the wife loses her tolerance and would be in a seiorius critical condition, then she would be granted divorce by the religious judge.

I want to know more about the grounds of divorce through al-Hakim Al shair divorce. for woman to seek irrevocable divorce on grounds of physical And mental abuse. not financially properly providing for family And wrongly accusing of being unfaithful. without husband permission to get a divorce.

Every accusation should be supported by religious evidence, therefore, if there were substantial evidences that
The husband is not supporting his wife financially
And the domestic violence is proven and recorded by the authorities the a case is filed in the office of s alkhamenai in qum. Or sh Basheer najafi in najaf and after looking into it the divorce of Hakim can be issued.

My Nadhr with Allah was to refrain from a haraam act and never commit it again, and if I did I must pay Kaffarah and part of my will I wrote that I must recite 1 million salawat, I just don’t know what to do or how I’m going to recite 1 million times the salawat. please show me if there is another way I can solve this out, I’m just so confused and now I don’t know what to do, Can I just put aside what I have said in regards to the 1 million salawat and just pay the kafarah or do I have to fulfill it?

First of all the Nadhr if it is beyond the capacity of a person then it is invalid from the beginning. Therefore, the nadhr of Salaat if above your capacity then it was not engaged.
The nadhr can be erased by paying the penalty of either feeding 10 poor or clothing them.

As for the sin , u tried to avoid it with the best of your capacity and a slip happened, in such cases those amazing believers feel defeated by the Shaytan after holding them selves for quite a time. So don’t worry seek repentance Allah swt is seeing your efforts to avoid and He loves it. Do not give up, be ready for the next strike of the Shaytan. Keep the practice of reciting the last chapter in the quran which keeps the Shaytan away. Try it! when ever u encounter bad thoughts from Shaytan just recite it and u will see the miraculous effects of it.

How does one help someone that has stopped praying salat, only work focused?

it is very important to inform that person about Allah swt and His existence, love and how to establish a connection with Him. Then the emphasis of Salaat and its philosophy is embedded in that persons heart.

while doing masa should one do it from the middle of the head or he can perform it from side also?

W salm Massa in done in the middle frontal quarter of the head if the head is divided into four pie sections. Thus it should cover the frontal quarter of the pie.

I am getting continuous doubts since last two days about ALLAH swt

I am having thoughts which says that there is no GOD (astagferullah) i know there is one ALLAH swt but my thoughts says how can i prove it to myself

That is seriously dangerous fight it through two things
Read sura NAAS as much as u can it is the best.

I live in Florida but travel weekly to Michigan where my wife lives. During Ramadan, is it permissible for me to travel before Dhuhr from FL to MI and return same day with voiding my fast?

If u leave your home town after zohr u complete your fast.
If you leave your hometown before zohr you break your fast in the trip.
It is not forbidden on a fasting person to travel however the question that pops up is when does my fast break if I travel, this the criteria is Zohr.

Understood the concept of breaking the fast when traveling before Dhuhr. However, as mentioned I work/live in Florida but my family is still living in Michigan. I have been traveling weekly for the weekend to Michigan for over a year’s time span. Since this is ongoing weekly travel to a city where my wife lives/works permanently & has residence, can I not complete my fast? My intention is to just travel for the day, leave in the morning arriving Michigan before Dhuhr and return to Florida in the evening arriving just after Maghreb

It is problematic unless you are considered a frequent traveler who travels frequently for a minimum of 10 days each month for continuous 6 months in one year. If that applies then for sure u have to fast in all your trips

Please can you give me more information about mutha . I want to end my mutha early because my husband is not being nice to me so how do i do that ??

Your husband needs to indicate that he has relieved u from the remaining period or he clearly states that he has ended the muta with u.

I have read this incident mentioned many times on the internet. A few times it was associated with imam Jaffar saqiq(as).
Can you kindly verify if it's actually a saying of imam jaffar sadiq(as) or not?

The incident follows like:

Once there was a man who did Tohmat of our Sixth Imam Sadiq (a.s.). Imam Sadiq (a.s.) did no know about it until a few days later when one of his 'friends' came to him and said, "Oh Imam, I have heard terrible news. This person has been going around and saying this about you."
Imam Sadiq (a.s.) became angry at his 'friend'. He said, "Think of the person who did Tohmat towards me as if he shot an arrow at my body. I did not hear him so it is as if the arrow missed me; But by telling me this news, you have picked up the arrow from the ground and have hit me with it."

Non religiously it is also mentioned like:

“I heard this man say things about you behind your back.”
“He shot an arrow and it missed me, why have you picked it up to stab me with it?"

So can you kindly verify if this incident happened with imam jaffar saqiq(as)? If this saying is accurate and associated with imam? If yes kindly provide sources to back it up. I'd appreciate that.

I can’t verify it but such moral stories are there and it dies not conflict with the concept of naneema in the quran when some one passes Ill talk of a person to him abd causes damage to relations thus such concept is seriously condemned so the story corresponds the quranic concept.
