Some people deny that Imam Hasan al Askari (as) had a son that went into occultation. Others (Bahais) claim that he had a son that died in infancy and that the occultation is symbolic and not literal. All claim that the 4 deputies came up with false stories and allegories/metaphors to soothe the Shia’s distress after the death of 11th Imam (as).
My question is, how do we know for sure that Imam Askari (as) really had a son that went into occultation and that the 4 deputies were reliable? I just want confidence in the fact that we have a living imam (atfs).
