Can it ever be haram to pray for something you desire? Could praying for someone or something ever lead to hardships developing in your life? Sometimes it does feel like doing dua has the opposite effect which is why I’m curious if it’s worth continuing on, or if Allah (swt) is telling me not to keep praying for it
