1) If a husband and wife mutually agree to both contribute to the rent payments (50/50 or 70/30 etc), is this permissible and is the husband sinning in this regard? Does this impact his right to be obeyed by his wife since it is mutually agreed? 2) If the husband and wife mutually agree to abstain from sexual intercourse (not permanent, they’re just waiting until the wife is ready again which could take more than 4 months) due to some difficulties the wife is going through after giving birth (whether physical or psychological), are they sinning?
